This whole environment thing is a non-issue. Gore is out of his mind. It's a simple test: Take a bucket, fill it with water to the brim (better do this outside) then take a huge chunk of ice and gently place it in the bucket. What happens? Now measure the water in the bucket. Let the ice melt - check that against what the bucket can hold. Pretty amazing, huh?

Fact is, the earth continuously goes through these cycles. 11 years of global warming and then 11 years of global cooling. It is simple - in the late 80's I remember the global cooling scare.

This is all designed to escalate the UN Agenda 21 - google it.

Only an idiot would actually try to make us all believe that global warming is nothing but a mere joke. It's NO joke. We have an atmosphere, and it's vastly depleting itself. It can't keep up with the very pace with which it becomes polluted. Cancer, asthma, and many other diseases are caused by pollution in the air. We can no play this pathetic little game of turning a blind eye to the reality of what we are doing to the planet, and ourselves. If George Bush believes in God (supposedly),then why doesn't he want to protect the very earth and beauty that God hath created?

Yea, you're right Doubt it Not... I'm sure that burning millions of gallons of fossil fuels every day literally releasing tons of carcinogens into the atmosphere for decades doesn't do anything bad to the environment. I'm sure oil companies making huge contributions to the Bush administration has no influence on his views.

Do some research on George Bush. He is Illuminati. Check out his Skull and Bones connections. Check out his Bohemian Grove connections. If you think George Bush is trying to do God's work, think again.

Yes, nobody would use fossil fuels if oil companies didn't make contributions to Bush. Just like nobody used fossil fuels during the 8 years that Clinton was in power.

By the way, who is pushing non-fossil nuclear power now? Clinton, Gore or Bush?

Believe it or not, water can be used as a fuel. People have been killed trying to get this technology out. Oil companies who make over 200 billion dollars/year aren't going to let this technology develop. I don't think you realize how corrupt our government is.

Captain Obvious, I totally agree and believe every word of it. Who stands to lose THE MOST if another energy form is discovered or invented? Why the big OIL companies, of course. They have billions of dollars invested. George Bush is the most evil entity on the planet. I firmly believe in God, and I believe he is nothing short of the anti-christ. Seriously. He is nothing but pure evil. Money, greed, big business. What do these have in common with the Lord?

I don't believe it because I am an educated and traind engineer who has worked for 30 years with other engineers and scientiests. Your concept is insane and would violate the natural laws that govern the universe.

Carbon monoxide. Gas fumes, factory fumes and residue consumed into the atmosphere. Mushroom clouds in Afghanistan and Iraq. Nuclear testing, aviation fuel, deisel fuel, and the list goes on.

I certainly never claimed to be a scientist nor biologist. I am merely referring to things I have read in articles and online. We, as a whole culture, as human beings, are polluting our earth. What's the point anyways? Global warming is happening, and we here on this website do not need to list every single component or ingredient. Go look for an argument elsewhere.

Just for your information, it there is such a thing as global warming the culpit is hydrocarbons and not carbon dioxide. Mr.Gore is attempting to blame global warming on the burning of oil/gas which produces carbon dioxide. All plant life depends and thrives on carbon dioxide. Mr. Gore is preaching unproven science since no one can prove his contentions that global warming is caused by human activity rather than events that occur naturally. Calling one an idiot that does not buy into Al Gores global warming scheme (when your knowledge is limited on the subject) is reason enough for your statements to be ignored.

He is obviously here on the BB to stir up trouble or to discredit anything about Al Gore. A typical GOP. Worried. Al Gore has come back onto the scene. The GOP sent him here to scour the website.

I read a great deal and yes many scientists accept the theory that global warming is caused by carbon dioxide since they are unable to accept that the earth has gone through the same process multiple times since it was formed. Some years ago these same scientists were warning about the coming of a new ice age. Carbon dioxide is not a noxious chemical. Humans breath in oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide, plants absorb carbon dioxide and throw out oxygen. If environmentalists truely believed that carbon dioxide is the primary cause of global warming, why are they not advocating the planting of more forests ?
The real danger is not global warming (since there is nothing we can do about it), but it (danger) is the growing hole in the ozone. Ozone depletion has been linked to chlorfluorocarbons compounds and halon compounds, chemicals used in industrial solvents, refrigeration, and air-conditioning systems and as aerosol propellants. That we can do something about !

I agree that we need to take care of the Earth. God gave us dominion over it. HOWEVER, just one volcanic eruption pumps more pollution into our atmosphere than ALL the carbon dioxide and flourocarbons, etc caused by humans since the dawn of the industrial revolution. I am not saying this is a total non-issue - my question is who stands to gain from this debate? What are they trying to cover up by opening this up? You can bet that there is something brewing and they are using this to grab our attention while these global elite fat cats are up to sinister activities. DOUBT IT NOT. When you understand the hegelian dialect (http://www.google.com/search... ) you will see a definate pattern.
