Sorry to see Merideth leave, even sorrier to see Star Jones leave. Congratulations & best of luck to Star on her recent marriage to Al Reynolds. Who cares how Star chose to lose her weight, it's nobody's business. Anyone who says anything negative is just down right envious. She looks fantastic, is healthier, and feels great about herself, as she should after such an accomplishment. As for Rosie O'Donnel, best of luck on The View, I'm sure she'll bring something different & unique to the show, as do all the women.

they all get on my nerves at one point or another but they HAD a great cast. speaking as a gay african american woman, rosie i can do without. doesn't anyone remember when she had her show she would say a product's name and they would give HER a bunch of stuff?! why couldn't star do the same for her wedding? i used to like rosie a lot but those last two or three years of her show she acted like her opinions were always right. hopefully she won't bring the same godly attitude. i'll just have to see. to quote the movie platoon.."it's politics man...it's politics."

Oh happy day! No more Star Jones to watch! This puffed up, in love with herself idiot is way too much for any normal viewer. All she talked about on Larry King was 'her' viewers. She is so in love with herself. The viewers were watching 'all' the ladies. In so doing, the viewers realized, very quickly, how repulsive Star was. ABC did great in getting rid of her. The more her mouth runs, the more no network will want her. Talk about 'if given enough rope...'

Backstage Sass I've appeared on The View a few times (three, to be exact-a-rooney about it). Was always a blast, a little bitchy, and most pleasant. After all, what's more gonzo than gabbin' with a bunch o' broads? Nothing. Wanna know why? Because men are typically unnecessarily acidic when they gossip--which, by the by, they do much more so than do gals, I'm convinced--the femmes just know how to have fun with the juice!
Except for Star Jones Reynolds, that is.
Every time I was on that morning talkfest, off-camera, the women--especially Barbara Walters and Joy Behar--were incredibly gracious with me. Oh, with the single exception of Star, that is. She would barely acknowledge me, even when I said hullo.
Mind you, I've never written more than three words about the woman, not really interested. But she always had a way of laser-daggering me with those little eyes of hers, as if she was going to hate me, regardless, just in case I ever did write something about her in the future.
Well, here it is, Ms. J.R.: I'm a writin' about you now, so maybe, just maybe, you were onto something all along.
No wonder Jones Reynolds isn't missed at The View, as has been widely reported. Do you know, I'm told, she attempted to have it written in her contracts what could--and could not--be said about her by others? Talk about an un-impromptu chitchat show! Also, S.J.R. rarely spoke with her coworkers, when the cameras weren't whirring. Certainly not when I was there. She was imperious, chilly and very impressed with herself, was the general consensus.
This is a tidbit from aperson who was on the show. something I had said all along--she was not nice to the guest. Especially guest who did not share her perfectview. So dont be fooled by Ms. Jones- there are plenty of other guests that have said the same thing about her. She is a fake....

I have watched the View from the very beginning... I have enjoyed the mix of personalities and opinions, and losing Meredith and Starr is unfortunate. I did not care for Debbie, and was glad to see her go, it's always difficult to watch during the "guest host" screening process...but usually the outcome is always a good match. Each person brings their specialty to make a very entertaining show.... Meredith was great at what she did, and I miss her mom raising teens perspective... Starr was always a wealth of knowledge in defining the "legal" aspects of things, and giving this caucasian woman the other side of the story, I learned alot from her... as for the coming of Rosie... I dread it... she is abrasive and loud, and just the tone of her voice raises the hair on my neck... I welcome all "views" but shouldn't professionals screen noise levels as an offensive turn-off to her hiring? I really feel the selection committee made a HUGE mistake in hiring her...and I may have to find someone else to watch.

Well we are four months into the new format of the view ....do I agree with the changes in hosts.....NO...love you Rosie but this is not your venue... Do I miss Star Jones.....LOADS..okay she was mum about her weight loss...so...if you have never lived with a weight problem it is hard to understand....where has all the compassion gone.... The View still needs something and it was not Rosie...I think for some of us viewers the lack of support among the original group says somthing about the show itself.... Meredith was wise to move on....Barbara your behavior throughout this leaves me disappointed... Enough sais

Rosie adds real zest to the View. Bye to Starr the phoney Jones and frankly if Elizabeth doesn't stop being such a prude she can go too! Barbara Walters is not telling all. Lot's of free stuff now that Rosie's on board! Trump and Rosie. Don;t you just love it!

This is the wrong mix of women if your looking for intelligent conversation of our world today. Rosie is too busy being gay, Elizabeth is out of touch with reality, Joy Baher is seldom really funny and Barbara is disapointing as an intellect. Four women with brains would be a good start.

I agree! Elizabeth is very goofy, Joy is very corney, Barbara Walters disappointed me and Rosie with her loud mouth is very annoying. The View will be off the air soon. You have a bunch of women that don't have a clue.

Rosie is very loud and annoying. Elizabeth is out of touch with reality and goofy. I don't believe they have the nerve to call Starr Jones a fake, Barbara, Elizabeth and Rosie is a fake. The View will be off the air real soon.

I have limited patience for fatasses, especially ones that are loud and shrieking. Given this, I think it's commendable that they booted her off. However, it defeats the purpose when one fatass is replaced by another who shrieks even more.

I used to love the show, but now find myself not feeling like I belong there!I,personally, thought the group they had before the upset all worked well with each other. It was life for an hour.Conservative views, liberal views, serious moments, comical moments. It was varied and interesting show.I like Rosie,as a comedian, but I really dont find listening to all HER political and personal opinions all that interesting as much as she screams them. The show has taken on a soapbox feel, and that is NOT what I want to listen to every morning. Esp.since I am a conservative and think Rosie opinions should stay hers and not cram them down everyone's throat. Starr did have a hint of "ME"ism, but again, that is found in our daily lives and can be acceptable if other qualities outshine that one,as they did with Starr!

I find Joy Bahar so annoying. She has no talent and is always interruting the other hosts. The show would be much better without her. Whoopi is great!

Joy should be fired for having no talent.
