I will watch the view once she is gone. Welcome Rosie, I look forward to seeing you on The View. I think its a mere shame that you or anyone else in America lobby your time around concerning whether or not Star had surgery or not the fact of the matter is that she is healthy looking glamorous as always and she need not succumb to the perception of peoples thoughts.

I think the word has been a brighter place to live in with Star dazzling our screens on the morning. I feel that she has a good heart. It is so obvious that tension as built up on the show in months pass. However we all can see that she is a leader, she is quick to speak on all forums that are on the show. Wheterh she had surgery or not whats the BIG deal Rosy and America, its what works for her. Star you are a beautiful person. I respect all the ladies ont he show, especially Barbara. Star I am in agreement with you, I know who holds your future....

If LIZ brings some conservative views to the program, i would hate to have her represent me.....if she had half a clue what she was talking about maybe, but.....she is like a fish out of water, cant swim on dry land, she is an idiot, you are more than welcome to her, thank god she is not a liberal!!

I watched the opening today of The View and I will never watch the show again. I immediately turned it off and I HAVE A NEILSON BOX. I found Barabara Walters to be her most incredible lying self ever. To turn on a person who has worked with her for 9 years that way...I lost all respect for Mrs. Walters and will never watch any of her shows again. The View will never overcome this mud slinging and for once legit professionals to use airtime to tear each other down is a dis-respect to their once good character and talents and their show.
Get lost Barbara Walters.

I had almost decided not to watch the show when they announced that Rosie (Big-Mouth, I'm so gay) O'Donnel was going to be coming to the show. Now with Starr leaving, I have decided for sure. I have nothing against gays, but hate having something shoved down my throat!!!! The View thinks that with Rosie they will get an award for daytime talk show, ha!ha!ha! Cancellation is the only reward they should get. Starr, we will miss you greatly!!!!! Shame on you Barbara, turning on someone you have called a friend for the past 9 years. You are so two faced.....

Rosie is comming to the View I won't be watching. It must have been very stressfull for Star these last few month. I thought she was a class act leaving.

Rosie is not a good fit for The View. With Star gone there goes the wonderful balance she provided the show. There is no longer a good view!

I won't watch the view anymore. When people have to be fake to be on TV, its not worth watching. The view is looking for air head women who will say what the men behind the show want.

Elisabeth should not speak of politics, which she is too uninformed to comment on. She apes the religious right. She's cute and perky, and fine in segments with fashion and product placement, but I wish the show would return to the idea of "views" and not fluff. I hope someone journalistic, or at least milder to offset Rosie, comes on. I like Daisy Fuentes. Gayle King, or someone with her style, would be great.

I used to like Starr until she was engaged. Since then she has become SO self obsorbed. She is more than willing to discuss every personal aspect of her marriage and life, but when it came to the truth about her weight loss, she was too embarrassed to say how she really lost the weight. You could tell she has been unhappy for quite awhile, knowing that she was not going to be renewed and Rosie was coming on. Then, in her self obsessive way, she surprises them all with her "announcement" that she will not be returning. Then she bad mouths them to the press. How selfish can you be! They made her a "Star"! Now she will disappear. The View is missing a lot right now with the loss of Meredith, but hopefully will get back on it's feet with new co-hosts! Good luck and I will continue watching.

The one that should leave is Joy, and I will not watch THE VIEW any longer that Star is gone. The idea of having Rosie replace anyone, with her obnoxious manner is beyond me. Wasn't this show supposed to be for and about woman? I hope it gets cancelled!

STAR, CONGRATULATIONS FOR STANDING UP TO THE PUT DOWN ...
If anyone doubted that the View intended to inflict emotional distress on Star, they only have to look at their rush to alter her page on their website with selective editing. Star's picture's removed, while the smiling mugs of the remaining three were left floating (symbolically gloating) above the blanc space that represents Star's removal. It looks like the View's editing goal was to highlight Star's banishment - emphasizing her imageless space with the faces of the women privileged to stay ...

My prayers go out to Star Jones-Reynolds; she has had a lot to endure these past several months. She has my support and I wish her the best. I am disappointed in Barbara Walters, I've always respected her as a person...but now I see her in a different light. You cannot claim to be someone's friend ,and consistently tell the TV world how much you Love them and within 24 hours, you are shutting them out of your life--some Friend. All of this, because they told the truth, because they took control of their life after you "Fired them"...

I've caught snips of a couple of The View shows. I didn't like it much, and that has nothing to do with any of the personalities on the program, I just don't care much about celebrety. The Starr Jones saga has been thrust into my living room through other programs commenting on it ad nauseum. Starr was being fired, her replacement had already been announced, without so many words, so she pre-empted and quit. Good for her. A smile for all the control freaks who are p.o'd because she didn't discuss it with them first or give them a chance to flex their muscles. The women I know who watch the show wouldn't quit watching it because Starr left, but they definitely won't watch it with Rosie.
