Miley Cyrus to skip Disney red carpet
Miley Cyrus won't be attending her first scheduled public appearance since Vanity Fair published photos that have thrown her status as a role model for young girls into question, Disney said Thursday.

That sound you hear . . . is a billion-dollar, Disney franchise disappearing down the old toilet. Hindsight is always 20-20; allowing (and likely even encouraging) Miley to bare her hind site was just plain dumb.

How sad that Miley's partents didn't protect her. Where is CPS when you need them? Isn't illegal to take suggestive pictures of minor children? How could anyone say these are good parents. What a poor example to set for all of Miley's fans, most of which are young teens. My little girl is very sad, expecially because she is no longer allowed to watch Hanna Montana on TV. I had purchased a Hannah Montana doll and microphone for her birthday, but I am taking them back. We don't allow tarts into our home. So sad.

I believe that Miley is a wonderful, good valued girl. However, the acting industry is very deceptive and I believe that she let her guard down resulting in this situation. I would not blame Miley for the mishap, just urge her to be more cautious because she is really and truly a very talented, sweet, girl. Keep up the good work, Miley.

Hate to break this to you but if you keep raising your daughter like a nun she'll be the first one of her friends out there fooling around with the boys. There was nothing wrong with those photos, it's people with perverted minds like yours that see them as "dirty". |

I think people are blowing this WAY out of proportion. She looks good. The picture isn't trashy in the least bit. I wish people would leave the girl alone. I swear they want to eat her alive because they have nothing better to do with their time.

i think people should leave her alone. she was showing her freakin back for goodness sakes. all the people who say its wrong and dirty and blah blah blah... what is the difference between this picture and one that someone takes of everyone out there in a bathing suit. i think it is beatiful and it is art and i will continue to let my 2 year old daughter, who is a huge fan, watch her show. and to all the kids out there who are sayin they hate hannah montana for this if most of the parents hadnt blown it outta proportion then they wouldnt even kno about it!!!
