On ynn news today, it had Brit's friend collecting money for the next search, and Brit's friend said they need tips and leads and they can ONLY get them with money.

Funny, cause in most cases tips and leads come in without money. Why are these people making MONEY their top priority??

Cause once they find her, people will stop giving money.... so they need to cash in now...

The people selling bracelets are donating to the organization that searced the wooded swamp area. Seems like the friend of Brittanee's may have been nervous and was at a loss for the right words. If you read the story on line you will see where the money they raised is going.

I know these people also raised money for the same cause by auctioning a guitar on ebay.
Kudos for them to raise money for Britt's search and not for her mother.
More people need to know that there is a place to donate to help with the search. It has been said that they are going into the same area again.

Would like to have a source of your information on them searching the same area. Did you read an article?

I think they really need to look at the boys she was with. His story is really odd!

This whole story is odd. They really need to lean on the d*** kids she was with. They know what happened to her and have been sitting on that info the entire time. I'm sick of this ****

Says Detectives are also working with the CUE Center to organize a new search sometime later this Fall when the leaves fall and the terrain becomes easier to navigate.

i hope she's found dead or alive but in SC theres gators in the swamps any chance that she was taken to a gator infested swamp in the middle of no where raped and killed and eaten by the gators maybe that's why we all can't find her body but i dunno just a thought

Normally I don't attack people, but this time I'm gonna make an exception...what is wrong with you? Seriously, are you that mean spirited and hateful that you would actually take the time to write that about a missing girl? She has family and regardless of what people think about her parents, she has younger siblings. I don't know if they come on here or not, but imagine if they do and they read your dribble. How can you be so cruel and inhumane? Shame on you..shame shame shame.

Someone has to pay for all the trips to Carolina and other expenses. I don't think that money is first. At least there is an attempt to keep Brit's name and face out there. This is what I call hope!!!! MOTHERS AND FATHERS AND LOVED ONES HOLD ON TO HOPE IN THESE SITUATIONS. GIVE IF YOU CAN, IF NOT, DON'T BUT DON'T KNOCK THE EFFORT, IT IS A VALID ONE.

I WOULD HOPE IF I WERE IN THIS TYPE OF SITUATION THAT MONEY ALTHOUGH A MAJOR NEED, DOESN'T BECOME THE FOCUS. REMEMBER THE INITIATIVE: FIND BRIT AND BRING HER HOME, NO MATTER WHAT WAY IT ENDS UP.

Michael Crook seriously needs to be looked at. He posted a full confession and is impersonating her on twitter.com/brittaneedrexel . His actions are escalalating it's just a count down until his next violent attack........10......9....8.. ..7....6....

I was born and raised here in Myrtle Beach. I still live here. I know how the boulevard works.. Anyone that know anything about Myrtle Beach, knows what goes on down there. It is a tourist trap, and a place where people (young and older) meet, and, well you know the rest. I would be willing to bet that she met someone the night before, who she thought was nice and someone she could trust. I bet she got in the car that night with this same person. That's why there was no scene or struggle. Plus, this is very common for the boulevard. People get into other people's cars down there all night long, so no one would have thought anything about it. The sad thing is, it could have a tourist or a local. If it's someone not from here, she could be anywhere. Sadly, I doubt she is alive. Although, I will still hold hope for her safe return. No one deserves that. She is 17 years old, and god knows, when I was her age, I went down to the boulevard too. Unfortunately, it only takes getting into one car where the guy is dangerous. My heart goes out to her family and friends. No matter what people are saying about her parents, they are STILL HER PARENTS.... and they love her, and they hurt over this. Who are any of us to judge how someone is allowed to grieve?
