Whoa. This movie looks like a big of crap.

In the original cartoon series, the only reason to have a story line or dialog at all was to provide a mechanism to get Speed Racer into the Mach 5. The show was about Speed using the Mach 5's unusual and fantastic capabilities to pound the crap out of the bad guys, destroy their vehicles, and win the race. The more crashes the better! The less talk, the better! Those of us that loved the original cartoon will apprciate the fact that the movie does not become bogged down in plot and dialog. There is a time and place for great plots, dialog, and acting. A movie based on the original Speed Racer cartoon is not a place for any of them. I can't wait to see it!
