US program seeks to increase use of E-85 fuel

How stupid we are. Faced with economic problems we insist on making it worse by insisting that ethanol is the answer to the countries dependence on outside petrol products. Good money is chasing an expensive, government subsidized fuel that will exacerbate world food shortage and diminish individual wealth. We are surrounded by the danger of ignorance.

the feds want to make the investors in green stocks richer!people like al gore went from millionaires to billionaires by investing in this.they contributed to obama and others big money like the uaw did and are being paid back legally for their contributions.they could care less that gas and food prices are higher!most of the public has no idea of what ethanol cost to make verses gasoline?they dont know that ethanol is less efficent than gas so you burn more?if ethanol wasnt given a subsidy by the feds it would cost more to make than gas?take away the subsidy and ethanol goes away?its all about the investors and to hell with the public!ask a mechanic!
