The Dems are the ones blocking the Drilling and as a result blocking the wind energy development. Guess you don't drive a car or have a furnace, A/C's, Stove, oven, or any other appliance which depends on energy. I better be careful this kshick could be the unibombers cousin. Where is your manifesto?

You have that right. I drive a Hybrid Honda as does my wife. We recycle and have cut down on trips, etc, etc. Guess dems have to call people names and judge them when they don't have anything bright to say.

That isn't name-calling, that is accurate descriptive writing.

This is fact, not name calling. The only time it is name calling is when the statement is untrue. I have not judged anyone, but it is real tempting for me in this case.

It is easy to tell when a Democrat is in denial. He denies his responsibility when he leaves for a month's vacation, leaving behind the energy crisis, hoping to blame the Republicans. Good work, Democrats.

You partisans look so silly when you snipe at each other while energy lobbyists and the "representatives" they support laugh all the way to the bank.

Think for a minute about what you both want in common! New tax breaks for developing renewable energy projects? The oil industry is making record profits so they don't need federal tax breaks or subsidies, right?

It is a national tragedy when oil speculators create a panic which divides us...you remember: We the people, for the people.

Who actually believes drilling oil in pristine national parks will help our great nation recover from this current crisis? REALITY indicates it will be 10 yrs. before that oil makes it through a pipeline and refinery. How is that helpful and useful today?

In stark contrast explain to me why oil companies have Billion Dollar profits and are not satisfied with the current leases they have which as of 2008 are yet to be drilled?

There are entirely too many egos at work here!

What happened to the concept of being proactive? Establishing a 1-3-5-10 and 25 year plan? Let's face it...American Citizens can no longer continue to use the % of natural resources to which they have been accustomed.

Inundate your elected representatives with email after email. Demand they discontinue their theatrics and pass useful legislation which will positively impact you...their constituents...Last time I checked this is a democracy...vote intelligently.

Rebublicans, hello, hey, are you out there? Do you hear it? Thats the winds of change coming..........Bush and his cronies out and thank the Lord God Almighty the Democrates will be in.

Republicans, hello, did you feel that? Its the return to a America we can be proud of. One Nation, under God, a nation that cares for its poor and homeless. A nation that cares for this earth.

Republicans, Hello, do you see that? Yes, its the men in uniform coming home from a war that was based on lies, and a President that does not care, and lies, and lines the pockets of the rich.Did you see the tears of the mothers who lost their sons in this sensless war?

Republicans, listen, feel and see the changes coming. God is going to save this nation despite you.

It will encourage the OPEC countries to drop the price of oil today. But the "ten year" argument is bogus. First, for many locations, it won't be ten years. Second, if we don't start today, where will we be in ten years.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Pisces

Having to bow down to convention or limitations is enough to make you want to scream right now, and you'll do your utmost to rebel in any way you can. Be careful about this because you could easily get on the wrong side of someone who has power or authority over you. It feels as though you're battling with forces that want to keep you under control, and you don't like it one bit.
