"A largest wind farm in Kansas is scheduled to start operating within days in the southern part of the state with the capacity to provide electricity to 160,000 homes."

Why not put solar PV on the roofs of 160,000 homes and use the power where it is generated?

BP and Sempra should spend their assets on large scale grid power storage instead. No matter what type of power generation used, nuclear, coal, hydro power, geothermal, natural gas, solar or wind, the national grid NEEDS power storage for long term stability.
