North Carolina takes step forward in offshore wind hunt
The U.S. Department of the Interior is moving ahead to designate three sites off of the N.C. coast for possible development of offshore wind energy, including two sites off the southeastern coast, state and federal officials said Wednesday.

Great, full steam ahead. It would be great to have that wind farm off shore in the sound off Kitty Hawk or anywhere here. If it creates 1 job here it is a step in the right direction. We could hang ray from the 1st one.
