Isn't amazing that the same people who would complain about putting up one oil rig bedcause it would obstruct naval traininghave no problem setting up a few dozen wind turbines and just for added fun make them white so they are harder to see when it is foggy.

Imagine platforms anchored in the great lakes to supply power.

Turbines on bridges where they won't be in the way.

Tops of buildings (especially in Chicago).

People are just going to have to get it out of their heads that wind turbines are ugly.

Why should they if they are. Also I cna imagine those anchored turbines during the winter when the ice rips them out and when they suffer at the hands of a lake storm. Your also forgetting those buildings already have stuff on the roof like cell phone antenna, radio antennas, air conditioners and other wonderful stuff. I won't even bother busting your bubble on bridges. Or bring all the fun you would have during a blizzard with all that stuff on the top of buildings and bridges.

Build it to last, not fall apart at the first sign of inclement weather.

Unless you build it the size of an oil rig it isn't going to last and if your going to do something that big tehn you may as well build an oil rig. That way you also get oil and jobs.

Daily Horoscope for January 6

Taurus

Try to keep your energy a little bit more under control. If you scatter in all directions, you'll end up hot and bothered. Mars tends to rev up your engine, but an awkward aspect to Saturn will make everything go in stops and starts. As soon as you try to shift into higher gear you meet immovable objects at the moment, so the solution is to slow down. There are wonderful, uplifting influences hanging around as well as tricky ones, so just hang in there.
