In his odd little world, that means that everyone received them. and me saying that I did NOT receive them means I'm "fallacious". I think polson just like to engage in falliaciou.

With respect, sir, you have completely lost whatever argument you could have been making to attempt to refute my simple and irrefutable statements regarding the expenditures by the unions on behalf of the three preferred candidates. You must have more productive things to do. Please go about them.

BTW, adding "with respect" to your posts does not mitigate your name-calling, assumptions, failure to provide documentation, or any of the other things you get called out for.
It just makes you look silly.

It just makes you look silly. And yet...I have done no such name-calling. There is no refutation to my original contention of union spending. But here is RBL's juvenile retort: "I think polson just like to engage in falliaciou." Please continue to discredit yourself, please. More verbal flailing is in order.

Employee donations, not union money, funded the campaign supporting challengers to the two board incumbents. Those who donated included faculty, classfied employees and administration. The flyer was printed on a home computer and distributed by volunteers.

Mr. Polson: You have repeatedly, and for years, been a name-caller. Posters who disagree with you are treated to your pithy responses. Your most recent epithets are "troll" and "loon". Terms I find more frequently on TP blogs, and in Breitbart's online world.
You will be unable to dispute this fact.
I never tried to refute your "original contention"; I simply said I had not, personally, received any advertising on the part of the teacher's unions regarding the local school board race.
For god's sake, man, keep up!
and I hardly consider myself "discredited"... not at all. I know it would really make you feel better about yourself if you WERE able to discredit me, but it really doesn't happen much, if at all.
Now, go sell a house or whatever it is you do these days.

"factual information...facts" from another anonymous commenter with no "documentation" of their own. How eagerly does the partisan hack leap to accept undocumented "facts" that suit the preferred spin. This just got to "ludicrous speed" (Spaceballs lingo). buh-bye.

We just happen to have different opinions. I will happily raise a glass to one of my more intractible ideological foes--glass of beverage, glass bottle, shot glass, even aluminum--my treat. "Beer summit", anyone? When either one of us abandons the field of battle, it'll probably be due to having to reside in a nursing home. Me? Ski season starts next week. A lot of this fades, but the columns and blog will continue.

Don Polson wrote: <quoted text> Please spare me the gullible union-advocate line of query. Glossy ads plastered the county's mailboxes. Don't insult people's intelligence that unions don't spend tons of bucks to influence elections(and no, I won't indulge your argument by providing documentation). Teachers unions spend money precisely because voters are involved in the decision process. Want to avoid the obvious conflict of interest? Simply deny unions the ability to spend taxpayer money on advocating to taxpayers. They can still spend any money they can voluntarily raise outside of forced union dues. Even voluntary contributions from their members. Sounds fair enough. Interesting to me when I voice my opinion that I don't believe the local teachers' union spent "large amounts of money" on the school board candidates they support that you jump in to defend your unsupported opinion that they have. And then your writing that I am a "gullible union-advocate." You don't know me. I have never belonged to a union, don't support them and am certainly not gullible. That's why I question your accusation that they spent large amounts of tax-payer monies without documentation.
