I am glad to see the reporter talking about Autism. I work with special education and the autistic kids are GREAT!! They excel in areas that most people don't care about. Autistic kids are brilliant. They are some of the best kids I have worked with.
I agree

Autism is that big fat hairy myth that people use to try to justify their kid's bratty attitudes.

There is no genuine dysfunction known as Autism. Instead of looking for ways to get around the severe corporal discipline that kids need, parents will revert to the mental disfunction d' jour.

Spare the rod and spoil the child. Beat the kid and make him or her see Jesus.

As the great radio comentator Michael Savage has taught us, " autism is a fraud, a racket. I'll tell you what autism is. In 99 percent of the cases, it's a brat who hasn't been told to cut the act out. That's what autism is."

I sincerely believe Mr. Savage and you should too less you have the socialistic beliefs of a traitor who would desicrate the Constitution of the United States of America and everything it stands for, including the Lord Our God.

Autism, like man cased global warming, is a fraud perpetuated by the internal enemies of America.

No!

Not whatever you whimsey bitch! Autism is one of this once great nation's greatest frauds. It is generated by the politically correct crowd that would outlaw parential spanking as disciplinary punishmeent and allow the young people to run about without parential or authoritarian controls.

Soon, even uttering the word "NO" to a young person will constitute verbal abuse, punishable either by monitary fine or time behind bars.

Stand by for government endorced anarchy!

"Boys are four times more likely than girls to be affected."
This is disputed to be a myth. Signs of autism are more difficult to detect in females because females have more pressure to be social so they learn to cover it up well.
And Mike is a fraud.

Mike is an uneducated person trying to act like he knows what he's talking about. What exactly is your background? Have you studied Autism? Have any experience with autistic kids. Spend a day in a class for autistic kids and then tell us what you think.

Depends on what you infer by "uneducated". I barely made it past the 8th grade but probably have a hell of a lot more common sence than you and your fellow teachers unionistas.

Autism is just another Machiavellian way of allowing the lefties to get away with anything with the end justifying whatever the means to accomplish it.

Had two kids who tried to act "autistic" after entering their "terrible twos".

Amazing what a folded belt on the kid's bare butt & 20 swats can do to "cure" the autism myth.

It is far better to be feared than to be loved.

But you lefties will NEVER understand that concept. You will always appear weak to your kids and allow them to walk all over you with the dysfunction d' jour as an excuse for avoiding your parental responsibilities.

I wouldn't let Mike near any of my autistic students. His ignorance is only eclipsed by his idiocy. He appears to be confusing autism with bad behavior.

<quoted text>
There is no comparison lady. Autism = bad behavior and should be nipped at the bud through agressive and harsh corporal disclipline.

As the well educated (PhD) radio commentator Michael Weiner tells it, "Atusim is in 99 percent of the cases, a brat with an attitude caused by overly permissive parents. In the psychological community, autism is a fraud and another racket to allow 'therapists' to garner more money."

The myth of autism is caused by the lack of personal responsibility of parents to disclipline their children. It is these parents, not the kids, who should be treated and reeducated in effective and discliplined parenthood if they want to continue custody of their kids.

So true. I have a 22 year old, non-verbal autistic son.
He lives in a group home with 4 other adult autistic boys.
As much as I would like Mike to see and experience a day with autistic boys, I would not let him any where near my son because of Mike's ignorance and stupidity.

And how much of my HARD EARNED TAX MONEY goes to support your and the other brats living the life of Reilly with a lifestyle that most working stiffs in this city couldn't possibly afford?

Put these "young adults" to hard work cleaning up the highways, parks and sewage ponds. I would bet good money that they change their negative behavior in a heart beat.

Since when did firm disclipline become equated with abuse???

This is all wrong and we hard working tax paying citizens are being forced to pay the price of those parents who have better things to do than properly parent.

AND MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE MYTH OF AUTISM IS NONE OF YOUR GOD DAMN BUSINESS!

Mike, you dumb ****, I CHALLENGE you to take your little uneducated **** on a field trip to the UCD MIND Institute where they are constantly making discoveries about autism all of the time. THEN we'll talk.
Just because you failed and sucked as a father to two brats doesn't mean that autism doesn't exist.

University of California at Davis? HA HA HA!

You mean the California State School of Socialist Indoctrination?

I don't need no stinking government education. 2 better institutions would be:

http://www.bju.edu/

http://www.liberty.edu/

Both of where God's truth and nothing but God's truth is taught.

I find it interesting that you use God's name in vain on one post, then preach his teachings in another.

Furthermore, I for one would rather see me hard earned tax dollars spent on helping support these innocent people who had the bad misfortune of having a terrible disease than some piece of trash that milks the system all while being perfectly capable of earning their own income.

Your spouting’s seem to be filled with a lot of hate and anger. Why not put your energy towards something useful rather than coming down on innocent people?

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Virgo

You're feeling restless and need to introduce as much variety into your day as possible. However, you'll want this to be on your own terms, and you certainly won't like it if plans are changed without your consent or you feel you've lost control of the situation. Try to take everything in your stride, otherwise you'll end up feeling exhausted and frazzled.
