As citizens in a democratic society, we should respect those we have elected to serve us, but we have every right to expect those we have elected to do our will.

That is your opinion of school vouchers. The opinion of 1 person is not a majority opinion. Our public school boards do not vote for the majority opinions. They do what they want, whether it is for the good of the school district or not.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish the great man happy birthday wishes today. Today Adolf Hitler would be 122 years old.

Term limits, what a great idea. It needs to be on the ballot because if you let it up to our elite congress and senate it will never happen.

Or they do things for reasons unbeknownst to the public. Too many discussions and information is discussed behind closed doors in what is deemed "executive session". That saftey umbrella where some of the most important issues are being discussed yet we the people are not privy to this top secret information.
It's like a bunch of adults in a game of tag.
Anytime a tax paying citizen asks a question or get's to close to tagging a school board member they run for the umbrella and yell "I'm on base. I'm safe!"
Why do we pay all of this money to insure so much privacy and the safety of what seems to be top secret classified information.
I pay for the safety deposit and I have a key, but I'm never allowed in it.
What the Hell?

If you think pub lic schools are bad just wait until the private charter schools get your tax money. You won't be tossing any of their board members out on election day.

In fact unconstitutional private charter schools will have absolutley no accoutability to taxpayers for achievemnet or spending.

They will be accountable to the customer, in this case the parents, just like any other business. They way I see it there will be about a 1000 times more accountablility than there is now.
I can't wait to see you and your kind out of the system.

Get your facts straight Mr. Wright. The sewer being constructed on the Rail Trail will serve existing development on Old Mine Road in West Cornwall Township. These homes have failing septic systems. DEP mandated these homes be offered public sewer. West Cornwall Township received a USDA grant to help pay for the project and the Rail Trail was the most economical route for the new sewer. No new housing is proposed adjacent to the Rail Trail and the trail will be fully restored when work is complete.

This letter is in response to Mr. Michael Wright’s April 20th letter to the editor, “Development Crowds Rail-Trail.” The information Mr. Wright provided regarding the new sewer lines that are being installed along the Lebanon Valley Rails to Trails and Old Mine Road in Mt. Gretna, West Cornwall Township is not correct. There is no development of 60 new homes in West Cornwall Township. The new sewer project mandated by DEP that is being completed in Mt. Gretna is to service the existing homes in West Cornwall Township. Yes, the work being done on the Lebanon Valley Rails to Trails is an inconvenience to users of the Rails to Trails. This is an unfortunate but necessary side effect of the work. West Cornwall Township Municipality Authority is overseeing the project and the Lebanon Valley Rails to Trails will be restored and back to full use for the public when the work is completed.

You are right. And this guy wants to be a leader of our school children? Definitely shows he needs to separate his last name into two names so that he can be called Mr. Dick.

I got news for you, we had no business in Europe. The real monster was Churchhill. I spent 40 years studying the politics of the second world war, I forgot more about it than you are ever going to know moron.

And you have no business walking the sacred ground or breathing the air that hundreds of thousands of American troops fought to protect from the Third Reich and Imperial Japan.

You're entitled to your opinions, but don't expect many people to sympathize with you come Election Day. Anyone that sees Hitler as someone to be admired is nothing but a loon.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Gemini

You're in a warm-hearted and generous mood today, especially when dealing with loved ones and members of the family. You want to give them as much of your time as possible, and also to do anything else that will keep them happy. The only snag will come if you're trying to spread yourself too thin and you end up making promises that will be difficult, if not impossible, to keep. You may forget all about them but other people won't.
