It's going to be pretty hard to claim that he "accidentally" strangled her. Nobody in their right mind would believe that one even in south Florida.

It seems most people agree that no one has the right to take a human life, which is true in most cases. We believe (as humans) that we are the superior beings in the world, because ,.... we are humans. If you could communicate with a different species, they would probably think they are superior. Look at dogs or cats, common pets we are familiar with. How have they changed in the past 100 years? They haven't! They do what they need to survive, but they never kill out of anger, they only kill to survive (to eat), which we as humans also do with cattle farms, etc.

If a dog is rabid and attacks someone, we put it down, execute it, whatever term you want to use. Some of the most evil animals in this world are humans. Humans will kill for a few dollars, or because someone looked at them wrong. If a dog doesn't have a home, we kill it. If a human intentionally kills another, it is rare that they are executed.

The human race has done more harm to this planet than any other animal. Actually, we have done all of the damage. The humane race has a right to survive and as any other animal does, but when someone has no respect for human life, why do we protect him/her? We allow the most evil people to go free after murder because a court document was signed on the wrong line, but we kill dogs and cats because they are homeless.

It won't be long before we completely over pollute the earth and cause the world to end for the human race, because we allow some of the human trash out there to multiply and victimize everyone else. People that have no respect for others are the biggest problem in every country. When you violate the rights of others, you should loose your rights! This boy took another life out of anger and he is old enough to know right from wrong. We all know what will probably happen. This boy will spend a few years in a juvenile facility and be released on the streets before he is 20 years old. He will be mentally troubled because of this incident and being locked up during his teenage years. In his young adult life, he will devastate another family. Someone will be killed in the future by this boy because he is already unstable at this early of an age. If he starts this early, how is he going to be civil person in the future? This may seem like a crazy rant, but think about it.

I was a single mother after my husband passed away leaving a three year old son. I had letters from teachers remarking on his thoughtfullness and good manners. He was nominated for who's who in american high schools and went on to college. There are plenty of kids from two parent homes who have gotten into trouble and done horrible things.No matter who parents a kid, or how many, they need to know where their kids are and who and what their friends are. This girl had a grandmother and an uncle who said he helped raise her but she was reported missing a week after she disappeared. It took them a week to realize because she would spend weeks away at someone else's home!
It doesn't matter if you're single or married, people shouldn't have a child unless they are willing to invest the time and attention a child deserves for at least eighteen years.
The boy was from a single mother home but the father ran out on him. Maybe there should be some placement for irresponsible fathers who breed and run. Mandatory castration for single fathers who spawn kids all over and leave them in a one parent home?

This boy compitent enough to try and throw everyone off by helping with the search! I am not buying the lonely son scenerio! I also do not believe she willingly gave him sex. He took what he wanted and killed that young lady. He probably killed her first then commited his sick actions. Try him as an adult NOW! His mother shows no remorse. She seems relieved she does not have to deal with his bad *a*S*S anymore!

Socially and academically we are failing these kids. With violence being the solution for handling all situations. Btw, where are the racist rants now that are usually associated with these post; considering his features blurred out or not have been showed on the local televised news. It goes to show that many who are on the lower economic or social order are struggling with the same societal ils regardless of ethnicity or creed

I am so tired of these children getting away with murder and thats literally and figuratively! Society has allowed it by excusing their actions with incompetency, poor child rearing, and accidental circumstances to name a few. These kids know what they are doing, but figure they can get a break with the system because of their age or social circumstance. Murder is murder, you want to kill? Give them the proper punishment and watch it decline.. give him a soft consequence, watch it continue to increase.

The boy's mother was not remorseful, imagine what her son is thinking rigt now..

I am sorry that Niecy had to suffer, she didn't deserve it. God rest her soul, bless her family.

remember the 14 yr old girl shot in the face by a "friend" I warned children and families several times of the neglect at that home..they told me they saw now immediate danger to the children..to mind my business..now one son is in prison 5 yrs the next one is charged with several felonies and two others were charged with felonies..first there were 7 beautiful kids there there were none...she has finally been charge with neglect...she'll let any bum into the house..

Must have been a great mother. Must have taught her children right from wrong, yes and no and respect for others. Trailer trash. I'm waiting for her to blame it on the schools, everyone else that doesn't want to take accountability for their children do.

Outraged this poor girl died such a horrible death. Parents need to stop making excuses for their children, and get them help before they hurt others! that boy should be charged as an adult along with his sorry a** mother who just made excuses for him. I noticed the same thing. I could be wrong, but it seems that race is only reported if it's a white person. Why is that "politically correct"?

So sad for everyone involved.Parents who have no business having children.This boys mother is a shame,if you knew he had such anger problems, you are already in the system, dcf would have referred him to henderson clinic. Don't blame him not having a father, because he had a mother, and it is your job to see that he is taken care of.But when you yourself have so many issues, how can you help anyone else.
