Helix High School In Danger Of Losing Charter

Allegations of sexual misconduct by several teachers at Helix High School have put the school in danger of losing its charter, 10News reported.

What do you mean by "if they had the option"? All students at charter schools have the option of "opting out" and the district has to assign them to another school in the district. Really, nothing locks them into being there. Do you mean that it would be too inconvenient to leave, so that limits the options? I have talked to several parents who have said that if the charter gets taken away, they will go somewhere outside the district rather than attend a school under the GUHSD umbrella.
