When are people going to learn to live "within" their means? Why are both parents working? Because they want the fancy vehicles, fancy houses and clothes. Mothers should be home with the kids, and the fathers should be providing what they can for the family. As long as the necessities are covered and there is love what more is needed? But that is just a dream in this society. Most families are one parent...and one parent can not do it alone..work and raise a child in the right direction. All morals and values are gone in this society...now come the time to pay the prices.. GOD bless that little girl and her family..

I agree that there should be one parent home for the kids. Soemtimes however it is the father who is better siuted to be at home while the mother is better suited to be the breadwinner.

TODAY We are enslaved. We go out to work in the early hours of the dawn and come back in the dark. Our children get bathed, fed, we play with them a little and soon after theyre off to bed. In summer at least we get the daylight savings and can spend some time swimming with them or doing other outdoor activities. We have allowed our governments to enslave us & to educate our children for us. We don't really stop to think about the things of yester year that were beneficial to us as people. My mother had a concrete basin outdoors to do her washing in by hand. She never drove a car and everywhere we went it was done so on foot. She never complained & boy was she fit! I remember men whistling at her wherever we went which was the norm back then.

<quoted text>This whole new way of discipline just isn't working. Todays teens are a perfect example of what "time out" did for them as kids. We had time out but it was NOTHING like it is today...we got out butts busted, but good...then told to go stand in a corner and stare at the wall. Not this one minute sitting on the floor crap...this whole child discipline thing gets under my skin.
I couldnt agreee with you more, too many people have grown so Lax to child punishment. You cant even spank a rebellious child anymore where Im from w/o someone alerting the media, and having CPS knockin at the door... and thats just a spankin... unfortunatley its those kids who are getting beaten to a pulp that never get the help they need... cps is too busy targeting parents of a child with spaghetti sauce on his clothes.

Reparate Me for sexual assaults. This is just like the crazy bull that you find at www.ReparateMe.com where the wrongs done by others are discussed and voted upon. What gave these boys the right? Where were the adults?

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Aries

It won't be long before you start to feel bored today, unless you can distract yourself - you're switching from one activity to another. Ideally, you should keep yourself amused by doing something that's unusual or challenging, otherwise you'll be tempted to stir up trouble just to see what happens next! Even though you know that's a bad idea, you won't be able to resist, unless you've got something better to do with your time.
