I'm wondering how much this is going to hurt our community. What is going on with our Attorney General? This whole mess needs to be thoroughly investigated.

I so agree and I hope those guilty and we all know who they are need to be reprimanded to the fullest and removed from being able to do more harm.
Moberly has to vote in some people who can actually help this community. Moberly isn't a bad place, it's just being ran by stupid bad people. I hope the voters come out and make the change that is needed!
I hope the voters get out and make the change that needs to be made in November as well.
Obama and Riley are one in the same, one is making of joke of Moberly the other the whole country!
Obama is the reason I gave up over a decade of service to this country. I wanted to retire out of the service. Obama is one of the biggest reasons I didn't. I can't stand that man and I won't look to him as a leader anymore then I would Riley!

I agree. Our community is being ran by some very crooked people. It is so sad for the good people of Moberly.

I agree. I keep thinking that Riley will have enought decency to step down--I should know better. He is such a pompus ass. Then, I keep waiting for the current City Council to vote him out-band together to out vote him and force him to step down. Come on City Council, he has not power, no one will listen or respect him.....tell him to go!

I cannot believe that the City Council has not asked him to step down. I know that the pompus ass would not have the decency to do it..but they should get it on the record that they asked...then VOTE HIM OUT!

We do not want him.

New mamtek story but you have to read it in the Columbia paper because the MMI has become a newsletter that only prints news that people carry in and give them.

Is State Attorney General waiting for October just before election to do anything about Mamtek and the locals involved? Don't vote for people who have proven they won't do their job. That includes the former city councilwoman who left everything up to the mayor and non-elected economic development president but now wants to go back to Jeff City as our Rep. Moberly was cutting Cole checks that he was putting in his personal account. Cole is hiding money in accounts around the world. Where are the prosecutors?

Well said. You are correct on all points. Even though we may not know who voted for or against what, we do know that the Council members, even if they did not vote for this deal, did not say anything or raise an alarm. Sometimes doing NOTHING is just as bad as doing the bad deed.

You are correct about MMI. Furthermore people, The Moberly Mirror---she tried to sound the alarm and the City Council ran her out of business. Funny, her story sure wasn't a fluff piece, it was a true investigative piece that PROVED TO BE RIGHT!
