zoloft side effects

I started on zoloft at 25 mg for one week. For the last 10 days I have increased to 50 mg. Two days ago I started getting bad ide effects bring slight nausea, trembling, fatigue, lack of interest. I this common and how long will these ymptons last? Thank you

I too was on . I started on 25 and increased to 50. the only issue I had was fatigue and insomnia lol...weird I know. Anyway, I stopped talking it because of the insomnia and I refuse to take another med to counteract another drugs side effect. Well, that's when it started....heart palpitations, tightness in chest, muscle spasms and tremors...mostly at rest...like I has to be in constant motion. Went to see my cardiologist who Sayyid I shouldn't have stopped cold turkey so I went back on the Zoloft. My symptoms got worse. I did alot of research and found a side effect syndrome of some psych drugs called Tardive. There are a couple classes within tardive but it is always caused my the meds and often starts when the drug is discontinued. The worst part of it is that the symptoms are often permanent....with out the drugs. I am now looking to see an endocrinologist to discuss thyroid issues and then a neurologist for possible neurological damage.

I don't know where you are now in your therapy but I urge you to do a little research before your symptoms to get worse. I hate for anyone to have to go through what I have.

I don't know if this is a side effect from my first time taking this drug or not, but I broke out in a itchy rash on my cheek 20 - 30 mins after I took my first 50mg along with swelling along my jawline. My OB gave it to me yesterday. You guys think I should stop taking it?
