A half mil Bail? A murderer gets that? It shows how property has become more importaint than a human life.Next we will be chopping fingers off when people have to start stealing bread to survive..

Never the less The guy was out of control he should sue the Dr and the Drug Mfgr for Damages...

thats great that the police got this guy. the only thing i dont agree with is publicly describing your methodology. if any other soon-to-be pharmacy robbers hear or catch wind about this new tactic....they will just dump the pills into a bag upon leaving the robbery site. thats really ingenius though. hope you heed the advice.

they got the story wrong on the radio. they were saying that the actual medicine contained a tracking element. how idiotic to think the pharmacy put an ingredient that acts like a gps. lol

This man held a razor sharp knife to a 19 year old girl's throat demanding pills or he would kill her. If it was your daughter, you would be appalled at a bail for any less.

Great Job by MPD in catching the this burglary using state of the art techo. That's what good police work is all about. Too bad the public has to get wind of the vico-Lo-jack bait pill. Now the theives will either begin to look for them or demand no Lo-jack pills during a robbery. Too bad the dirt bag didn't swallow the bait pill. That would have been a surpise.
Then that probably would have led them to the sewage treatment plant,if you catch my drift.

Did they leave the doors open? Something about this scanty article doesn't ring true.

All of you can say what you want. The truth is that Fred is a man that would give you the shirt off his back if you asked for it. It sucks that he had some back surgeries because of pinched nerves and had to be put on pain meds to deal with it, and then became addicted to the pills. However, knowing that they're addictive, the FDA continues to let doctor's prescribe them over and over. Who's at fault here?

I have been an aquaintance of his for over 15 years and he's never been "that guy." All you butthead's that don't even know him and are calling him a junkie need to take a step back and ask yourselve's what you would do if it was your friend, relative, neighbor or whatever.

There are many addicts, but few resort to armed robbery. This man has a tendency toward violence, and that will not go away if he is "cured" of his addiction. It is part of his personality. We all have problems in this world, but thank God most of us don't hurt other people for our own gain.
