Where does this gug gett $10,000.00 to post bond??
Will they detox him or will he sue them for not detoxing him?

Is he ADA eligible?

Works for a safety company? Do they drug test randomly?

The most incredible thing in this story is that the Judge reduced the bail for a 50 Vicodin a day addict that supports his habit by committing violent burgleries. I'm sure judge Ward will be real surprised when this guy strikes again. Hopefully no one will be hurt including his previous, probably now terrified, victims.

I completely agree w/ you, why would the Judge lower his bail & he committed an armed robbery w/ force on a 16 year old victim!!!! The next time robs someone due to his "drug habit" lets see what kind of excuses the judge has for not keeping him in jail...

once again the police do their job and once again a judge drops the ball.
this "judge" is a disgrace. can we ever get a judge who is not on the side of the bad guy?
this guy held a knife to a 16 year old girl's neck!!!!
he needs to be off the street pending the court case and (we hope) his sentencing. is this judge a former aclu lawyer?
can a future victim sue the judge personally when this guy hurts them tomorow or next week?
disgusting judgement from the "judge".

They should do a similar thing with cars having navigation (e.g. Garmin) devices. There has been such a rash of thefts of these GPS navigation devices and it would be great to be able to catch the criminals who smash windows, violate our sense of safety, and make us have to go through the hassle and expense of replacing the units and trying to restore our "favorites" (favorite locations).

The same thing should be done with whole automobiles – put decoys that have GPS tracking devices in them. Creating the opportunity to steal is not entrapment! It would make thieves think twice because they would wonder if it were a trap and maybe no do it.

Great work by the police!

But ohhh, the court system reduces bond so the thief can get outa jail. What is going on? If the guy can't do without pain medication, what do you think he's going to do once he posts bail? Stupid judges and lawyers. If they were one of the victims of this creep and had a knife stuck to their throat, I bet there would be NO BAIL!

From personal experience, he's a great guy that got hooked on pills after dealing with some serious back surgeries. The doctor's are allowed to continue to fill the prescriptions over and over, knowing the pills are addictive, but for some reason, everyone is quick to jump on the guilty party like he's a career criminal. Granted these are hanus crimes and I in no way condone them, I can't help but wonder how bad these things really mess up your brain when you get hooked on them.

I guess i'm just asking people to stop and think what they would do if it were their friendly neighbor, relative or whatever and other's were just pointing an instant finger and saying "slimeball, junkie!"

He's going in for the help he needs and I have high hopes that they can ween him off his addiction and give him whatever help he needs so that he may return to being the helpful, friendly guy he always has been.

Kudos to the Manchester police and the Westown staff! I wonder why the bond was reduced however? This scumbag held a knife to the throat of a 16 year old at the pharmacy. I guess Judge Bradford Ward doesn't consider him a threat because he didn't use it.
Disgraceful!!

he is not a threat to bradford because bradford is surrounded by court security while he is at work, unlike the 16 year old girl this thug could have killed. and if bradford wants extra protection at home he can call on the state police to provide plainclothes security for him and his family for as long as he is a "judge". we cannot and neither can the next victims of this thug boy. but as long as bradford is safe thats all that counts to him.

yes they did. but then the judge turned him loose to do it all over again. this absurd excuse for a judge should be charged with conspiracy when this guy strikes again. how do people like that judge sleep at night?

bdiggy, this man IS a career criminal. When he has held a knife to your throat, or your wife's, mom's or daughter's, THEN you can come back and tell us what a great guy he is. And I can tell you this from personal experience: your buddy and his knife and mask do not disappear when he leaves the store. They are there every morning when I come in to work, when I come across a knitted hat in the closet, when I see a teenager on a bike, when I hear a noise outside at night. Yes, I am terrified.
Thank you, Manchester P.D. Don't lose heart.
