Genital Herpes

I am only 18 years old and i only have three parteners but it was contracted by my last partner..It all startes when i had first had sex with him on May 8, 2008 couple days after i noticed two small lumps on my ovaries. i really thought nothing cause it went away. until i started urinating like 25 times a day. <Me thinkin it was a UTI i never went to get tested. so sex continued unprotectily. then on june 8 i had sex with him ans the sypmtoms came right after . burning when urinating, swollen lymphs , and foul ordery discharge. i told my siser and she told me to get tested for herpes. in denial i didnt i got treated for i UTI and when i told my botfirend at the time he lied about going to the doctor. i knew he was lying. I later develpoed a lesion which they had to scrub and drew my blood..i was tested potive and my life shattered before .. outbreak after outbreak i knew it would only get owrse if i continue to stress. so now iv ask forgiveness from god and moved on with my life.. i never told him he so he still doesnt know so im sure he continues doing him..well he knows.. i will admit i continued to have sxx with him cuse i felt he was all i had to get but i had to wake up and realize its either pregnant and having both HIV andHERPES.. so i let go. i dont know if i will ever find happiness but someday i m sure i will.. i believe all things ahppen for e reason. even thought i was only sexually active for a year b4 it happen . so i continue ti live life.. its not as bad but im dealing with it one day at a time.......... PLEASE BE SAFE OUT THERE GUYS CUASE THEY WILL NOT TELL U IF THEY ARE INFECTED,,, TAKE IT FROM SOME ONE WHO KNOWS,,, GOD BLESS

Hi Nikki, so you never told him you have HSV? Did you just leave him? I just found out two days ago, and my boyfriend and I have been saying we might not stay together anyways. I don't know if i want to tell because if I do, he will tell everybody we know. I am confused wheter to just leave him, or hang on and try and be careful? What do you think?

well, we should let our partners know because many of us are in a denial. It is very frustrating knowing that you have fight an outbreak after outbreak. But there is one thing we can all hang on with hopes.... KNOWLEDGE IS POWER...so educate yourself...

i went through the same thing. the guy i got it from didnt tell me he had it and now i have been living with it for 8 years it reeks. now i feel even guilty if i kiss a guy scared that i am going to pass it! im so sad!

all the figures they put out about %40 of the population has genital herpes is bullsh** its just people trying 2 make u and themselves feel better but and if 4 in 10 people have it stand with 10 people and see how many of u have it.i can nearly guarantee youre the only 1 with it the harsh reality is most people dont have std's and nowhere near 40 percent of the population has herpes as thet would be an epidemic-all of these people passing on contagious scabs like leppors the fact is a few unlucky people have herpes and if youre 1 of them bad luck lifes officially over for you!!!
