Did you ever get that refund from P4U?

I know someone else who did (eventually), it only took almost 3 months, and countless emails.

A friend has been chasing IC4U (like many of us!) and pointed out their reputation was going down the drain and was told: "Let them say what they want to say, we are not affected as we have scammed anyone one. If we see that someone's order is paid and missed to ship then we will refund the money straight away" Pretty arrogant huh? I am going to try AMC. Could you tell me please how long it takes from ordering to delivery? Thank you!

amc are very quick to deliver,usually get shipping email same day you order and 9 times out of 10 next day delivery uk, sometimes 2 days.i ordered friday got shipping confirmation sunday and shipping email today.very confident they will be here tomorrow.been using them for nearly 3 years now and they are always prompt.i send them an email as soon as order processed confirming that i live at my address.it stops the phonecalls and they will accept it and send you shipping details soon after.

I thought i would post the following link here for anyone who maybe addicted to any opiod, like codeine and DHC etc and wants to stop.

I have been through the withdrawing several times and i know its not nice, i convince myself i need the codeine when in reality i dont, ive wasted over 10 years of my life chasing down these little white pills makeing sure i have enough and trying not to run out, waiting patiently in withdrawls for the postman to come, and lying to people around me.

I really want to stop for good but i feel like i dont have the will power, if i could stop 2morrow withou any withdrawls i would, but if it was that easy them i probably wouldnt be addicted.

The site above is full of lots of good info and very caring people, iam a menber also buy iam more of a reader than a poster.

Hopefully it will be of use to someone.

Just an fyi regarding AMC. They DO contact you by phone so don't be confused by that earlier post about the company that called after they placed their order. They do call to verify who you are and I guess it protects them although I do not think they asked me for a CC number as they already had it. Very professional company though and very quick service.

Its always been so good why would they suddenly start scamming it doesn't make sense after all these years and such good service it now states they are back in business is this true ? hope so

O god are we back on pinning our hopes on P4U, thought that ship had sailed.

They're scammers, move on.

Have you been on their site and tried to place an order?. They've hardly got any products. In the Pain section they've got about 8 products whereas they used to have about 38. And the 8 they show are generic and not the real mc coy like they used to have.And it says they're out of stock anyway. Plus so many people have ordered and not got their order and are waiting for refunds that no one dare place another order. Luckily I got my last order. I've used them for years but I think its game over for them now.

you sound like a very decent,honest person to post this and sounds like you are halfway there by admitting you have the problem.im also a slave to my addiction to them and hate it.hell i would be quite well off if i didnt have it.thankyou for posting this up,its good to know there are people out there that can help with it.

I too read this codeine help site. In the past I asked a couple of times for someone to buddy me while I tried to wean off but no joy. Lots of info. and platitudes and I think it is very good for someone who does not have a really big problem i.e. people who take relatively small amounts. I do think that if you are taking quite large amounts you need substitute therapy unless you really really can manage the weaning off i.e. cutting down day by day or week by week. I've never had the discipline to do it. You need someone to support you as when you are addicted to your pain meds you act like an addict and that is the horrible reality of it. If only I had known just how addictive these DHC were!! It is like my mantra. So good at killing the pain, so good at lifting the mood but boy oh boy I wish I had never seen them!! But I tell you what, this thread is really good because we are all in the same position here - genuine people, on meds for genuine reasons who have unfortunately ended up addicted to them and it is good to not feel so alone now! xx
