Risperdal stops working?

I've been taking Risperdal since 2005. For the past few days I feel like it's stop working. I feel sleepy everytime I take it and I haven't seen it done that lately. I haven't really noticed any difference in my mood or behavior but I'm having trouble sleeping again. Is it possible for this drug to stop working?

See your doctor...do you have any co-medications other than risperdal?(other drugs may affect absorption of risperdal) Did you buy a generic version, or have you stuck to the brand Risperdal?(poor generic screening in the phil.,most are substandard) Have you been consistently beeen compliant to your taking risperdal?
