Waking up in the morning

Prozac has greatly improved my quality of life. I have almost no side effects, it makes me calm and I can deal with whatever life throws at me in a cool collective matter.

The only negative part is... I can't wake up in the morning. Actually, I can wake up but I want to go back to sleep. I know I'll be late for work but I just don't care.

Anyone experience anything similiar and what did they do?

I've had the same problems... when my boyfriend tried to wake me up he said it was like dealing with a zombie. It makes me groggy at night, too, and my psychiatrist said that I could switch what time of day I took it if that helped and it did.

I GOT THE same problem with waking up . Last morning I was 1.5 hour late to work because I could't take my head of my sleepy pillow.I m taking this prosac pill for 5 days and really got me on good track,but only those mornings could be better.My idea for this kind of a problem is very loud alarm in your hand watch or something close to you where you sleep and try to wake up earlier so you have time to think, WHAT IS SO IMPORTANT IN YOUR LIFE that you have to wake your ass up.Make a plan that will lead you threw overall day with people you hate and love.First thought after you wake up is most important because you don t want to start your day with shiety thoughts later.This is like starting a building project with wrong material and structure, latter on, building will collapse even if you used best materials for the roof.
