I was on prozac or some sort of ssri for about 7 years off and on (mostly on). During this time I experienced some problems with having an orgasm, especially when drinking, though in the last few years i've usually been able to take measures to prevent the problem (skip a dose, lower my dose, don't drink as much).
However, now I've decided I no longer want to take prozac and stopped talking it (under doctor supervision) about a month ago. Now I have the exact opposite problem with sex, sometimes I don't last a minute! I'm fairly young and started taking the drug around the time I started having sex. Is it possible that the drug has acted like a "crutch" all these years and has prevented me from having any sexual control on my own? Help. |
