Zappelina on paxilprogress.org had herpes of the spine I believe not sure if there is any scientific link to the drug or if she thought so read her posts couple of years ago. The other thing that comes to mind in regards to this was the one and only death from chronic fatigue was a spinal infection of some sort read that on paxilprogress.org too. It may have been called ME not so sure as I have memory issues due to 18 years on antidepressants.
There is an idea from Robert Witakers book that the longer one takes the ads the more apt they are to have cognative/memory issues. You can watch a video of his talk here.

Here, medical journalist and Pulitzer Prize nominee Robert Whitaker discusses the widespread use of psychiatric drugs.
His first book, Mad in America, explains the history of the treatment of those with severe mental illness. His latest book, which was recently released, is Anatomy of an Epidemic: Magic Bullets, Psychiatric Drugs and the Astonishing Rise of Mental Illness in America.
So, what can I take ?
Pamelor ?
I take meds for gastroparesis too.
All poison. All of it. But, I need it. What can I do ?
Please advise ?
Thanks.

Thanks for posting these links. I've been keeping up with this for quite some time now...(not as much as you obviously), but I believe your reporting facts, not subjecture. I have ZERO confidence in psychiaty and personally believe it's totally bogus as a therapy.

How do you know if it's in God's will to heal you ?
Not everyone gets healed. I know one of my pastors' was, the other not.
One of my pastors committed suicied in the church office. Hung himself. Our church never told any of us why ?
It fell apart soon after. We were fairly close.
So much I don't understand ?
:(
We can't judge by other people because unlike God, we don't know the secrets of their hearts...only God does. And he doesn't promise to heal everyone, because healing is partly conditional on certain keys and obligations required of the believer. Obviously, some of us either take these keys too lightly...or, we need more grounding in the Word of God, and so we "miss it".

However..one knows he is the healer because Jehovah Raphi is his name...(The LORD that heals). It's his nature to heal. Psalm 103. but..I will say again, healing is conditional on many things. For example, there may be a need for deliverance from demonic oppression.

The keys to healing are all in the Word. Bottom-line, faith to be healed enters into the picture. As it says in James, we can't be doubleminded, or have any doubt. We need to believe God wants to heal us, and then pray and believe for it, and in the process, examine ourselves, and asking God if there is anything we need to repent of or change in our lives. Maybe we need to build up our faith more, studying the Word, to be approved unto God. Maybe we need to draw closer to the LORD in obedience, worship and prayer.

It could be any number of things. God is gracious and merciful, but he is still a strict father.

Job was said to be the most righteous man on the face of the earth, and yet he was tested by Satan. In the midst of all this, it says that Job never sinned. And, he was healed and restored when he prayed for his friends. I have been healed of things when I prayed for others. Just one example.

Antidepressant drugs like Paxil causes various unpleasant and frustrating side effects such as abnormal personality changes and unusual mood shifts. If you continue to experience discomfort, consult your doctor immediately. Also consider the numerous other harmful and even life-altering effects of these drugs such as suicide, psychosis, insomnia, eating disorder, sexual dysfunction, self-harm, and birth defects. You could check http://www.paxilbirthdefectlaw.com/paxil-laws... for a more detailed information.

Even the FDA issued warnings about the serious side effects linked with antidepressants such as Paxil. Studies would also indicate that antidepressants could be interchangeable, which could be a scary thought. Found out some information here: http://www.paxilbirthdefectlaw.com/updates/an...

Aren't medication for mental health-related illnesses supposed to produce major changes? Just as mental illnesses at certain severity levels create major changes in a person's behavior, treatment are supposed to effectuate major (positive) results as well, right? Otherwise, the drug is not producing proportionate effects on the patient. Antidepressants though do not work well to some. There are cases when patients have borne more of their adverse effects than the good ones.

Antidepressants would inevitably produce personality changes. Paxil, for example, causes suicidal thinking behavior, loss of appetite, insomnia or sadness. Ironic that it treats depression. With these side effects, one is bound to have major personality changes.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Aries

It won't be long before you start to feel bored today, unless you can distract yourself - you're switching from one activity to another. Ideally, you should keep yourself amused by doing something that's unusual or challenging, otherwise you'll be tempted to stir up trouble just to see what happens next! Even though you know that's a bad idea, you won't be able to resist, unless you've got something better to do with your time.
