immodium is a godsend, as is melatonin.. Helps calm me down a lot..

Been this far, I was wandering how things are feeling now.

I kinda plateaued.. I feel good 2/3 of the time but every third day or do I don't feel so hot.. I'm feeling better every day though and it's all about tomorrow.. I really appreciate the support, concern, love and compassion I've received from everyone.. You are what is good and right in this world..

You are at a good place now. Appetite will be getting better and insomnia will begin to dissappear. Thisis now the way "normal" will always be. st gotta get used to it so that "normal" don't seem so bad.

Good for you! It just gets better. I had stopped not long ago but have relapsed a tiny bit, I'm definitely not as bad as when I was using tar. We're praying for ya!

How much Immodium did you take?I'm going too get the Loperamide hcl pills today they are like 5 dollars for 96 count 2mg ones at Wal Mart.I'm also going to GNC to get my 5htp,,L-tyrosene,Omega 3 or 5 and Vitamin B complex ,Nyquil& Melantonin and tylenol pm for sleep and I have 1 weeks worth Ambien as well as about 2 weeks worth of Zanex.I was at a high amount daily like you 240mgs but I believe tapering down too a lower dose I have lowered my daily dosage by 75% over the last weeks ans I sure hope thats gonna make it way easier on me :) If I have missed anything anyone please let me know I'm planning on jumping and going cold turkey by next Monday :) Congrats 513 to 614 on 14 days I can't wait too get where you are in a few weeks!

Yesterday I took 45mgs and I take them orally only and so I took 3 15mg oxycodone and just a few weeks ago I was taking 16 a day so I have been very persistent at my tapering,I used too dose two 15mg pills every 4 hours as prescribed too me now I take Like one 15mg pill every 7 hours trying too spread it out as long as possible.It must be working because it's getting easier waitng between doses it was pretty tough when I 1st started tapering so my brain must be adjusting to these lower amounts already :)

21 days strong!! Or it will be tomorrow.. I feel fantastic.. I've put on 15 lbs and am just generally healthier.. I've made a point to wear myself out everyday so I can sleep, thankfully.. It's amazing how myself I feel once again.. I hope everyone is doing well, I'd love to hear from everyone again and maybe pop this thread up for someone else's help..

And one more thing, and I mean it from the bottom o my heart, THANK YOU, to everyone that supported me and were in my corner.. Without you guys, knowing there was somewhere I could go where people understood, genuinely understood where I was, made all the difference in the world.. If the answer is yes then all the more reason for her to be your ex.

I'm in a very similar state of mind as you are as this is my 2nd week clean, 13 days to be exact!
I find that any tiny miniscule amount of stress, bad news, disappointment, etc. completely triggers superbad cravings for me and it has taken all that I have mentally to not go down to the berry patch (my doc WAS roxi's).

Honestly don't know what to tell you but just wanted you to know that you are not alone and that you are surrounded by a lot of people that are rooting for you.

GOOD FOR YOU!! The great thing is you didn't go there even though I truly know how badly I'm sure you wanted too!!! I had a really, REALLY f'd up day yesterday and that berry patch was on my mind all day. I spent all day justifying how badly I needed them and that I could do them just for 1 day and get right back on track. Yeah right, we all know how that goes.

Another day clean is one less day you have to hurt.. That's been my philosophy for a while..
I'm glad you stayed on track.. Your right about the threshold I'd say, 14 days or so is when i physically began to feel relief..

Good luck to everyone fighting the fight. It's hard. I had 8 months sober, relapsed last week. So I have 6 days sober. Just gotta take it one day at a time.
I had a dream last night that I was in Vegas with friends and the h was everywhere. I fixed up, and swear I felt a rush. Then Immediately woke up and puked, and had horrible back pains.
I'm on methadone and some people say I'm not really clean, but it has kept me out of tempting situations. So I don't care.
Sorry for being all me me me, but it's nice to vent.
Good luck to everybody that is struggling out there, and know there is always someone there to support you. Whether it's family, friends, NA, a topix forum, whatever it is; just know you're not alone.
