Does 30mg of Methadone helps with wrdraws from Oxycodone

Actualy, i wanted to know does 30MG of Methadone, 3x10mg a day, and 20mg of Valium, 2x10mg a day helps against the wirtdraws from 240mg Oxycodone (Roxicodone)a day ?
Friend of mine took Roxicodone for about 1 year around 240 to 270 mg a day.
Any comments are apriciated

Yes, but you don't need the Valium.
(A friend of mine!) was at 450mg. Roxi per day.
And suboxone or subutex is better than methadone.
Because (A friend of mine had done methadone also, and it is highly additive.(A good buzz)
But some people are different.

So methadone gives you a buzz. i know i sound stupid(often, so i dont give a care), but is that why its so highly addictive? What kinda BUZZ does it give you. All i know is pain meds SCEDIII and less potent, so thats all i can compare it to. does it resemble any of them. AGAIN, the boards slow, just curious! i take the threes for pin but i'd be a big faat liar to say i havent gotten a buz from some of them, or enjoyed it sometimes.

Sorry I opened a can of worms mystic cherokee.
but as for MYSELF methadone was a good felling, just like pain pills. I only took them for a week but I had a lot of them. Suboxone is what I have now and it seems like a depressant. I just don't have the time to go every morning to the Dr. office to get 1 pill of methadone. And the price is too high also. So if someone is trying to quit pills Suboxone will help the withdraws only.

Oh! No, NO ,NO can of worms, just bored thought i'd ask. this person does not seem like they have a methadone detox issue, thats why i thoght it migh be safe to satisfy my curiosity. Sorry if i bothered you, truly I AM. Sincerely, Mystic

they should keep him from getting the yawns and watery eyes.he wont get a buzz and alot of times when people switch over they keep taking more and more methadone to get off and instead they go to sleep and dont wake up.please tell them to be careful to not take too many but thirty mgs is not huge dose.is he getting them off the street or from a clinic or doctor?i got mine from a friend and didnt know how hard it is too kick.use the methadone for a week or two tops.he doesnt want to kick methadone too.trust me on that one,im sure you know but if you dont,methadone withdrawals are alot longer the roxis.i use roxis before to help me with methadone withdrawals and got hooked on those for a couple months and they were alot easier to kick than methadone.again be careful when he first starts methadone.ease into it.start with 10 and wait 4-6 hours and see how he feels.less is more sometimes.and methadone is strong.just 10 mgs will help his withdrawals a lot.i have a friend doing the same thing.

A ho Vini, Hopin you'd stop by. Melissa made it clear that maybe I should keep the trolls over here. cant argue with that. Ive been so worried about Zenstorm and his problem with labor. They have temp places, where a lot of guys are milling about TRYING to get a job for the dau/week. Some of em are good guys, with the economy, probably a lot of em. He cant get that 10 lb paint thing off there and all that 4x8 stuff. makes ME wanta cry. I wanted to post to him soooo badly. There has got to be places(men coming out of the unemployment office that want to make some spare change. Vini, people NEED work, there is no reason he should be going thru this. check the head and see if its dead, or something like that. If you can send him my best wishes for a solution to his temporary problem that has hit him at such a horrible time, id really appreciate it. You my friend i dont know too well and vice vs. are in my thoghts and i always hope you are doing well. if i dont talk to you before nights end sleep sweet, and have a good day tomprrow. happy memmorial day vini. couldnt agree more,i know a lot guys looking for work.just a year ago things were crazy and you couldnt find enough hands.im a commercial contrator and we do our own steel erection and we have woodworkers.i have had countless faxes waiting for me each mourning of subse trying to find work.i thinks its even harder for zenstorm because he has to break in each new hand.i will pass on the good thoughts and thanks for your support over on the methadone thread it hasnt gone unnoticed.you is good peoples as we say over here and glad i have started to come over here.roxis were the last monkey i had to rip off my back after my pain issues were dealt with.i think if you have to be on a harder pain med like oxys,k-8s,methadone,roxis.roxi s are the better choice.i hope you all that are on it for pain find relief and the ones on it to feel good get more out of the drug than the drug gets out of them.i not judging im just saying.i know we all want to feel good and be free.i hope thats where you are at in life.content and at ease.

Sweetie i have been told by a couple of people that i have a profound odor of shlepping trolls and tis the truth. they LOOOVVVVEEEme. go figur, geuess its that wee bit of irish my crazy father left me with. they et the rise, but im workin on that and doin fairly well w/ the ignore button. Where are you at that Methadone is so expensive? I've been on methadone for CRONIC PAIN 8 yrs and prescribed 240 pills monthly (8 daily)and the price is only $35.
