30 mg of oxycodone is 30 mg of oxycodone. But there is a bit of a difference. The 224s seem a little weaker. Its because they break down a little slower being that they are a bit bigger. By the time the pill fully metabolises your body has already removed a small percent. So by the time the last 5 mg enter into your blood stream the first 10 mg have been filtered out compared to the normal 30 mg roxies which by the time the last 5 mg enter your blood stream only the first 5 mg have been filtered out. Once all 30 mg are fully metabolised the 1/2 life is the same. Its the same thing if you compare a 30 mg roxy tablet and 30 mg of sublingual liquid oxycodone. Its the same amount of the same chemical its just that one puts more of it into your blood stream at once than the other.

Thanks There is no such thing as Roxicodone. That is a word made up by trailer park drug dealers that dont know what they are talking about. Oxycodone is the chemical in the pill, Roxicet is a brand name of pain killers that contain Oxycodone. Roxicet makes Oxycodone pain killers of 5mg, 10mg, 15mg and 30mg as well as other types of drugs. The same goes for hydrocodone. Loratab and Vicodin for instance are brand names that make pain killers containing Hydrocodone. Same drug, different companies.

Roxicodone is the brand name for the instant release Oxycodone medication made by Roxane Laboratories. It is a registered trade mark name of a specific medication, just like Roxicet or Lortab or Vicodin.

Roxicodone is the name brand for the the drug oxycode in instant relief form made by Roxane Labortories. Roxicet is the name brand pill for oxycodone with APAP in other words tylenol or acetaminophen same thing. percocet is the same thing as roxicet just a different company or lab that makes the pill. when i was percribed to roxicet they were the 5mg with 500APAP, for those of you with rx's you know that didnt do anything. I am now have a rx to the 30 mg oxycodone and i get diferent versions of the 30 mg roxis depending on what my pharmacy has i get the blue pills that say m on one side and a scored side with 30 on the top or the a215 pills. i have also gotten a bigger pill that just says 224 and is scored on the othere side. anyways my point is you highly mistaken and im pretty sure my doctor isnt some trailer park drug dealer. Get your facts straight before you get on a webstie and talk smack like you know what you are saying when clearly you are an incompitent asshole that presumes he is right. Look online and check your facts out you jackass.

I'm 99% sure it is so. Also you can't call someone retarded if you start by typing "really don't know anything". Non-retarded people would know that the proper way to say (or type) that is "really doesn't know anything". You come across fairly uneducated. Just so you know. This whole thread is full of idiots.

I think the confusion comes from people calling all different types of painkillers roxy's over the years. I got a 224 today for the first time. I looked it up... It comes from the same company that made the 543 percs everyone liked the best back in the day, Roxanne Laboratories. These must be fairly new as I've dabbled for years in painkillers and never come across one until today.

It is the same, as in 30 mg is 30 mg. Depending on how ingested, they work at different speeds. I had my first one 30 minutes ago. After 3 days in agony, with nothing, I am at about 90% right now. Yea, lil more powder, but who cares when you need them NOW. Peace...

Sorry for the double-post. Maybe I'm only at 75%, rather than 90%. But, they work...

Roxicodone is what some doctors write on the script, but your pill bottle will say oxycodone. It depends on what the doctor wants to write on the script, but they are both the same. I have been prescribed them for three years and had two doctors: one wrote roxicodone and the other wrote oxycodone.

I humbly ask for your input(all of you) I, also, gotr MY FIRST RX OF THE CARACO-SUN PHARMACEUTICALS-Oxycodone HCL, 30MG TABLETS. THEY WERE BLUE, VERY LARGE-HAD A LINE ON ONE SIDE AND "224" ON THE OTHER,. I HAVE TAKEN THEM NOW FOR 6 DAYS(SINCE I GOT THEM) AND THEY HAVE NO EFFECT WHATSOEVER...NONE-ZIP-ZERO ..........HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE? OR SIMILAR? I CONTACTED THE FDA AND CLAIMED THEY WERE DEFECTIVE AS IT "FELT" as if there WASN'T ANY ACTIVE INGREDIENT in them. Anyone?
