As far as I'm concerned the topix rule is you are a SCAMMER until it is PROVED that you are not a scammer.
1st if your a new seller you need to post pictures of the product you claim to have in the amount you claim to have with dated and signed pictures
2nd you should send out a free sample to a well known member in exchange for a good word
3 allow small test orders to build your rep That's the process and even all that doesn't mean you don't gain trust then SCAM the crap out of people.
But remember people if it seems too good to be true it probably is. Be careful of people who want half up front and half after you receive I got scammed this way. And just because he is using PAYPAL doesn't mean he can't steal your money.
So yeah this guy is a SCAMMER until he proves other wise.

If you tell them that you're not familiar with MoneyPak and that the scratch-off back seemed to smear a bit rather than just scratch off, and that the cashier looked a little sketchy they'll give you a refund with no questions. Like the other guy said, you can play dumb only once. What's too bad is that they likely do absolutely nothing to pursue the scammers.

When it's their word against the seller, the buyer wins. Plus, PayPal has your address and bank account info. Now that's monumentally stupid, bluesmanm. Yes unfortunately eBay and PayPal (owned by eBay) have been working hard to protect the buyers, but now to the point that sellers are no longer protected very well. As a seller your proof of shipment is the tracking number. If the buyer claims they received a damaged or incorrect item then they have to send the item back and give PayPal the tracking number of the return. Once that tracking number shows they returned the item, the buyer gets refunded. Meaning even if the buyer sends back an empty box (has happened to me) as long as the provide the tracking they get the refund and the item. The only way to get your money back if you're the seller is by a complicated affidavit (sworn statement) that needs to be notarized as well.

So if I actually did scratch the numbers off so I couldn't see them to redeem the card, will they replace that card and then also replace one that I got scammed for with a good story or is only once period no matter what?

I just received a refund check from moneypack...I told them that when I went to use the card to add funds to my PP account it would not go thru and when I checked the numbers it informed me the funds hd already been used. I hope this helps.

I hope this helps. That's exactly it. I doubt it'd work more than once though. Personally I don't plan on risking being ripped off more than once by some douche who doesn't know how to be halfway legit when it comes to exchanging money. People on here are dirtbags; I really wish Greendot would go after the scum that's taking these numbers and cashing them in for $.

No one time good deal..you could ask a friend to call for you instead..I did and so far so good..I'm tired of all these dam scammers..that's all topix has become..a feeding ground for scammers.

So basically if I purchased one card for $25 and scratched the numbers off by accident so never could use it, then got scammed for $80 on another card, I should just forget about the first one and report the second for my $80 back?
