Ortho Evra Patch Makers Settling Cases

Excuse me??? Have I missed something? Settling cases my butt!!! I don't call a hand full of cases "settling cases" J&J are only settling cases that are actually going to trial so they don't have to pay what should be paid out!!! Also trying to get by until this flippen "pre-emption" gets past!

I totally get you. but my question is for everyone. do your lawyers know that you talk about this stuff on line? i have given my deposition already and they drill you on this stuff. i'm not saying it's bad cause we need each other but they will try and use it agaisnt you. just be careful. ths is the reason why i haven't been able to talk to anyone, i am afraid it will kick me in the butt later on.

I hear it is true. They want to start settling these cases.

This was on a separate post....the Public Citizen, an independent advocacy group, has issued a press release regarding their request to the FDA to recall the Patch. The press release, including the petition, is at this link: http://www.citizen.org/

Sounds like a hopeful initiative from a non-biased group. They do not accept corporate funding, advertising, or government funding.

I can tell you are not a person that is very intelligent, so I will use little words. How do you know what I am doing on the site and what type of services we offer. Thank you for your evaluation on everything. Be mad at your crooked lawyer....not individuals out here trying to make a difference. You made a bad decision and that's your fault.

Del, I will offer you this much advice. All of you watch the things that you talk about on this website. Your settlements are "SUPPOSED" to be CONFIDENTIAL, not talked about or discussed with anyone. Many of you have already said too much.
While all of you are worried about your lawyers, worry about some of the people trying to befriend you on this website....they just may be informants trying to get the details of your case. So watch individuals who have nothing but bitter remarks to say about their lawyers....

Keep the faith!.. And Del, you need to stop being so bitter and try to find a new attorney. Plus, you don't have to settle, you are in control....your lawyer has to do what you say!!! It is your right, not his.... but you are too busy taking it out on others instead of trying to seek help and learn your rights. Again, that's your fault, not mine. Gigi,my bitterness is from all the people who are being taken advantage of by the powerful drug companies,and yes also against lawyers and firms who claim to be concerned and sympathetec to would be clients yet are only concerned with grabbing as many cases as they can.It just looks funny when i see a representative for some law firm continously drumming up business here on this site.If you are truly concerned i suggest you would comment on the topic more and less commentary and direction to your own law firm.Maybe you are truly concerned,but so many ads here for you seem a little fishy to me.I have seen how much lawyers genuinely care about their client's and how many lie to get cases.I will decline further comments about you,but warn anyone here to ask themselves why you are here.

are they paying out money yet

I was reading about this Ortho Evra recall and I am also one who had used this product. I used it for quite some time and ever since I started using it and even after I stopped I have constant Urinary Tract Infections. Is that something I can make a case against this company with?
