As usual a big drug company has pulled another one over on us guinea pigs and the Food & Drug Administration! I am a victim of Diethylstelbesterol, manufactured by Eli Lilly who also knew of the ill effects long before it acknowledged them & finally removed the product from the US market.(but continued to sell to third world countries). My birth defects & childlessness are not quite as severe as the heart attack & stroke side effects the women experienced on Johnson & Johnson's "patch" but just as wrong. Hopefully these jerks will see justice someday.

If the administration wants to encourage pre-emption, then they should also allow that the FDA be sued and pay for their negligence, incompetence, gullibility or for the fact that they are too underfunded to do their required duties as "the only agency with enough expertise".

Then the FDA must sue J&J to recoup all costs for damages paid to the victims or survivors, plus the FDA's legal expenses, etc. so taxpayers and victims don't pay for J&J's lie.

Or we save time and money by rejecting pre-emption and allow companies to be penalized for lies that cause death and injury or damage, even if they fool "the experts" first.

Money settlements aren't enough any more. This is criminal activity and those responsible should be doing time in prison.

Every single drug they make ruins other organs in your body.

These so-called "scientists" need to invent CURES not "treatments" that do more damage than good and the windfall profits need to be monitored.

And don't try to tell me you "have" to charge so much to cover R&D cuz if that was true then when R&D was paid for you'd reduce the price. Drug companies charge so much cuz they know the product doesn't work and will cause pain, suffering, and death and they need to CYA (cover their ass) for future legal settlements. Its all about crunchin the numbers...and if nobody sues its a jackpot.

I want to see all those involved including and especially the executives IN JAIL for a long time!

And why is there no legally imposed punishment on Johnson and Johnson for lying to the FDA and to the public? Why can they lie and cause deaths and face no penalty?

Daily Horoscope for December 9

Leo

You're really on the ball today so there's no danger of anyone tricking you or fobbing you off with lame excuses. If you suspect that a loved one is hiding something from you, you'll want to question them in a lot of detail. That's all very well but try not to turn it into the third degree, nor to make them feel hounded or bullied by your desire to know what's going on.
