Othro Evra Patch Question??!!?? No Period

I have been using the Ortho Evra Patch for around four years for irregular periods. I stopped using the patch and now I am over three weeks late on my period and I am very concerned seeing as how If I don't get my period and continute to have it I will not be able to have a child. Has anyone ever heard of this or had this happen to them? I also feel sick most of the time and continute to feel the need to throw up. I've never been one to be sick except for once a year if that and now I am sick every single day. Any advice or suggestions would be most appericated!

You should see your family physician. Request a test to check for blood clots. Also, check the side effects. I hope everything works out.

I agree with Gigi but Gigi hasn't told the whole story. The patch is deadly. It contains 60% more estrogen than the pill forms, which has been proven to cause great risk of blood clots, strokes, heart attacks, and sudden death.I am happy that you got off it...may have saved your life. It nearly killed me so I speak from experience...get your blood checked. If you don't show clotting factors, you can rest easy, I am sure your body will return to normal but this stuff is deadly and it may take a little time.
