East Tennessee man charged with TennCare "doctor shopping"

People like that is why people like us can't get help and have to do with out Medical Help. And have to pay out our ass for Medical. Maybe if they would get more of these people who is doing the tenncare fraud maybe some1 who needs it can get it.. Let him sit in jail & 4 a while and dry out. But then again there we are paying 4 that. So damn if we do and damn if we don't.

He looks like he needs to be shopping for a mental facility..he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer!!!

I went to school with him 20 years ago and he has always been on drugs and it seems like he is the same old wayne. He will never grow up.

Where are these doctors? I have never had a doctor that would write me a prescription for a pain killer for any reason. I once ask for a prescription for two, only two, Ambien pills for a long flight and was told NO. If I should ask for a prescription for pain, there would be a battery of tests ordered, EKG, xrays, blood drawn etc.

You are so right, where are these doctors in all of these? If they would hold the doctors responsible and have them pay a huge fine to the state to help fund Tenn-Care it might make a huge drop in the pain pill business.

Although I do understand what you are say as far as people taking advantage of tenn care, I do also think some people do need it more than others.

Not everyone on Tenncare is sitting on their butt! My children have tenncare because the place I work doesnt have major medical, I pay co pays and stuff just like a reg. major medical plan. Not all people abuse the program! The program needs to be maintained BETTER, not done away with! Would you realy deny a person dying with cancer a pain pill? Cause I wouldn't, now all of these people that are makin a livin off of their meds is a totally different story. Our entire health system needs to be redone, from the doctors office, to the pharmacy that is charging 3.00 for a .30 pill. GREED is in control!

They need to do away with the pain clinics and make the family doctors be more responsible in dispensing pain medication..People with cancer needs the meds but someone with a hang nail,not so much..

Thats exactly what Im talking about, not everyone in the world needs a load of pain meds. And, if the program was maintainted better then that stuff could be put a stop to. People need to learn that life is pain, your body is gonna hurt and you have to deal with it. The system in general needs to be overhauled, I also think that everyone should have to pay something everytime they see the doctor. Even if it is 5.00 that makes you have to be a little more accountable for yourself too.

And, please dont get me wrong. Im not in agreement with all the drugs that are being prescribed, bought, sold and taken. I hate what it doing to people and pray about it all the time.
