That is nice. My daughter see's me as her best friend as well. And I feel the same about her.
It is nice that you have a good relationship with your mother. I am sure she needs you now more than ever after losing a child. I can't imagine losing one of my children. I believe it would kill me.

yes that is a very true statement, it does emotionally kill you losing a child. watching my mother go through losing my brother is miserable, not being able to help her at all go through the massive pain, i lost my brother, and we were really close, but i could not imagine what shes gone through

No problem. I am not a monster I do have a heart. Yes I have argued with people on this site but I am not evil. I agree that Methadone is dangerous. I myself have issues with methadone even though I am on it. I just don't agree with banning it. I also don't agree with people attacking people for stating their opinions on the matter either being for or against it. We all have spewed enough garbage to fill up a few landfills. No-one is without guilt here. I left this site like I said because it got so bad. but also like I said I was dragged back here. Anyway, I do feel for your loss. TheRgirl

Methadone have saved MANY MANY lives. I owe my life to it and I am sorry you lost your daughter. But I would be dead right now if it wasn't for MMT. Please don't send some many people back on the streets. Educate yourself on the topic. HARMD sounds ignorant. Their claims are founded in nothing. I know they have lost alot of people. but I guarantee they were abusing the drug. I know I am talking to a wall here. But if you only knew. Methadone saves lives.

I have a great job, a great relationship with my family. I do not even think about doing drugs. I never had that before. I am tapering off of methadone and we be off of it soon. I think it is absurd that a random group of radical people would try to ruin some many people lives. The crime rate and overdose rate would go WAY up if HARMD succeeded. I lost my best friend to methadone. He was not in MMT. He got it from someone in a pain management clinic. It is dangerous is you abuse it. But if taken like it is supposed to be it can absolutely save lives. I also think people that say we "get high" know absolutely nothing. I do not even slightly feel high after my dose. I just think the ignorance of people is amazing. Don't get me wrong I do feel for their loss but they are taking their anger out in the wrong way. Methadone is a life saving drug. It saved mine. Like I said I have a great relationship with my family now. My mother and father used to think like all of the other closed minded fools. But then they saw what it has done for me and are not totally for mmt. If people knew what the goal of MMT really was, then everybody would be for it. I think it's a shame that this group even exists.

The VP of HARMD THis is my first time on this site, so I do not know totally how to use it. But the VP of HARMD posted a very ignorant, uneducated post about the harm of methadone. If methadone is abused than it can be deadly. But if taken like it is supposed to be it can absolutely save lives. Like I said I owe my life to it. And long after I am off of it I will think the same. I would be dead or in prison right now if I wasn't on methadone. Government legal drug dealers? That is the most absurd comment I have ever heard. He obviously has no idea what MMT is about. It's so sad, You know some people actually think methadone clinics are dealing crystal meth. That just shows how ignorant and uneducated people are when it comes to MMT. If people would do the research and see the successes of MMT then they would have a totally different opinion. It lowers crime rate, lowers the spread of STD. And for the individual patient. They get their life back! They get order in their life. They no longer have to be around the drug dealers. They can focus on getting a job, improving their family life. getting a doctor and focusing on their health, and then once all of that is done, taper of methadone. I can't believe people are so against it. what do they think should be done with heroin addicts? What's their solution? It is a shame

That's your opinon, of which you are entitled to. HARMD is not going anywhere and you might want to get used to that idea.

And I think it is a shame that people like you come on here and praise a drug that took our children and siblings from us way toooo prematurely.

The best thing to do at this point is agree to disagree and leave it at that. Trust me, you will not get a decent debate, it will only turn into a neverending mud slinging and I personally am tired of having to defend my opinion and the facts.

I am sorry for your loss. Please read my replies. Your comments are completely unfounded and uneducated. Methadone- miracle drug and I thank God every day I am on it. It has truly saved my life!
