Sheriff: 'The buck stops with me'

No Sheriff the BUCK stops with the taxpayers of Douglas County who will be paying out the wazoo because of the actions of the Sheriffs Office.

He says "The buck stops with me" and then he proceeds to blame the victim's family for not calling him directly at his home. BS!!

the nerves of miller saying the family should have called hiom at home. Hell, whatever happened to his deputies, stan copeland or medical staff should have called him at home or at the golf course.

I agree wioth you 100%, because we have to dig deeper and deeper inside of our pockets, because of miller and some of his staff. Also, I think it was unnecessary for that jail to be built, when we have unused bed space underneath the Gamble building.

miller is just full of mess and more mess. I read something about miller cheating during last election and it favored broughton. Anyone know anything about it?

you are right bubba we stole it but quest what he still serve his 4 years, now to be honest about it I am not happy about what happen I think miller has forgotten about the rest of us who help him all of us are suffering for it now I am so afraid that God is not finish with us yet and the more we fight this because of our own interest we will have to answer to him I want to go heaven so I have repented for altering God’s plans let this be a fair race and if its God’s will let it be, to all the candidates in 2008 I am sorry if I reveal my name they will hurt me. My opionion in all this is let the whole sheriffs department of douglasville burn in hell they are horrible crooked animals and deserve the death penalty

Disagree with you hate. I don't think adding more victims serves anybody.

Checks and balances and clear policy is a good start. If you think prisoners have no rights, you should see how few rights homeowners actually have. it is frightening.I had no idea. It's been an eyeopener.
