HI IM BIPOLAR FOUND OUT WHEN I WAS 33 NOW IM 38 AND I HAVE BEEN THROUGH ALOT OF MEDS. I THINK NOW MY DOCTOR HAS FOUND THE RIGHT COMBINATION OF MEDS. I NOW CAN SLEEP AT NIGHT AN FEEL LEVEL HEADED. I TAKE CARBATROL,SEROGUEL,CLONAZEPAM AND WAS TAKEN LEXAPRO WHICH NOW I DONT TAKE. THE ONLY THING IS THESE MEDS MAKE YOU GAIN WEIGHT AND NOW THAT IS MY ISSUE HOW TO GET THE WEIGHT OFF. I HAVE BEEN WALKING AND EXCRISING ALSO WATCHING WHAT I EAT BUT STILL NO IMPROVEMENT.

hi, I was looking for side effects on lithium. I also was diag. 2 1/2 yrs ago with bi-polar with depression and I am also a recovering alcoholic. It really sucks. I have been in and out of hospitals always to have my meds. changed. Lithium I just started and that is why I was wondering about it. My head feels off balance. Weight gain from the past meds. will make anyone depressed

i am 22 and i am on lithium and seroquel too i was dionost when i was thirteen and my advice is to say on lithuim and serquil because that has mad the most differance in my adult life, you will always have ups and downs that is normal stay with heathy support and lisen to your docter. it is somtimes hard to know what to do when you first turn 18, go to school and make a life for yourself good luck.

My husband was diagnosed with b/polar about 10yrs ago, but was never put on the right meds. till last year. He is on Litium now and its wonderful.
He was so bad he wasn't thinking right.. he was to the point he was thinking of killing me and commenting sucide.
I happened up on the wonderful doctor who has turned his and my life around.

The only problem he is having is he is passing out, completely for only a few seconds, my question is has anyone else experenced this on litium?
thanks.

Agree with what the doctors say but educate yourself to alternatives. I 27 and had similar experience when I was your age. Yoga practice helps too

Go to a chineese herbalist and tell him your symptoms I went through the same thing a year ago. Saunas will help to sweat it out as well as fasting

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Aries

Someone wants to go their own way today and they won't care whose feathers they ruffle in the process. It's a lunar eclipse at the Full Moon in Cancer, so let them get on with it. The last thing you should do now is to hang on to their coat-tails or do anything else that will make them feel restricted. Make it plain that you've got your own fish to fry, thank you very much. And try not to let it stop you enjoying yourself. Have a great night!
