Has anyone else seen a bad effect on their teeth from the use of lithium? I used to have PERFECT teeth until i started this drug (900mg) 2 years ago, and now I am having major problems...Anyone else? I am wondering if I will need to go off lithium all together...

I have been taking 300mg twice a day for 9 years, I could be a poster child for the stuff. Just this year I and my dentist have begun noticing problems, oh well, a minor price to pay considering the alternatives.

I have been on lithium for 8 months. I used to have beautiful and clear skin. Now I have acne all around my chin and neck. I am 40 years old and have taken great care of my physical appearance and I am so scared that all my work and money with personal trainer and yoga or facials all thru my years have gone to waste from this drug. I still don;t feel normal either so that does not help.

Is it possible that the new material used by dentists arround the world calld EMAX (Lithium Disilicate) can have an impact on patients health?
A Study by wataha shows the material is not biologicaly acceptable and exhibited cytotoxicity. Wy dentist dont inform patients about this issue? |
