Anybody else experience intense restlessness after keppra (250 mg) use in combination with lexapro (30 mg) concerta (54 mg) cymbalta (60 mg)? What about cognitive confusion?

Has anyone experienced breakthrough seizures while on Keppra for seizures and Lexapro for depression? My friend's husband is on both and still having breakthrough seizures/syncopal episodes.

Hi I'm taking 1500 mgs of keppra for about a year now (no Lexapro) Im getting breakthroughs from Flourescent lighting,(photosensitivity)mor e in the last few months than ever before. If I raised my dosage I dont think I could function.. For now I have no motivation & depression has been a problem with this drug

Two years ago I started with Keppra, I don't have to worry for seizure problems any more.

I have been on Keppra for over three years for Epilepsy. As long as i take it in a good pattern (1500 in morning and 1500 in evening) I have no problems. If I miss a dose I tend to increase chances of a seasure. Not all the time, according to stress and so fourth. My problem is insurance, the are so scared to cover an epileptic person. I find that so wrong, for a person who truly needs insurance can't get it. If they do get ins. they will not cover the Epilepsy. SO WRONG. As far as Keppra, the whole lawsuite for releasing a generic is wrong also. A generic will not be released for they want to extend their profit even though some people can't afford the drug they need.

I just got the generic Levitiracetam as my refill today. It cost me $10 with my co-pay when Keppra cost me $95. I've been on Keppra for about eight years and no one has tried to deny me coverage for my epileptic maintenance Rx!

I take 2G in am and 2G pm. That's 4000mg per day! I'm not aware of any problems, but then again, I may not recognize a problem as being associated with the drug.

I take Keppra 1500mg in the AM and 1000mg in the PM along with 1150mg of Trileptal. I have had quiet a few side affects. From mood changes to feeling high, being really sleepy to not being able to sleep at all. And I still have seizures.

I do and I have been ok with it except for being being easily distracted and some memory issues.

now taking depakote, kep and just started ( day 5 @ 25 mg's) lamictal... feedback welcome.

Still get these really freakish anxiety rushes, they usually lead directly into a stoppage of breathing ( people around me usually freak out and think Im dying!)

I think it is a side effect - others think it is breakthroughs. Kep 1500 2x (day nite) dep 500 day 1k nite and the lam is 25 as it is new and requires dosage raised incrementally.

My insurance co. recently switched my script from Keppra to a generic. I recently had a seizure after being seizure free for almost 5 years. You know the drill: no driving for 6 months. I am very upset. These companies think they can rule our lives and at the same time, they have taken away my life. For the last six months of my career, I will have to beg rides off of anyone going my way. What a horrible way to live and to try to function on the job as well.

Daily Horoscope for January 6

Scorpio

Don't let yourself be caught up in a crowd mentality. Just because someone else makes a major production out of what should be a simple matter, doesn't necessarily mean that it has to affect you adversely. You might be able to bring down the volume with a tap on the shoulder and a meaningful look. Even though it might not seem like it, your cool head is definitely appreciated at times like this.
