Has anyone had any adverse effects from taking HCT? For instance, irregular heartbeats, fatigue, changes in complete blood count snd metabolic lab tests, etc. I am taking 12.5 mgs with Benicar and am trying to find out if the side effects are from the benicar or the HCT. Thanks.

I see this post is kind of old, but I'll answer any way. I heard Hydrochlorothiazide CAN alter blood tests, but I don't know about the Benicar. Have you asked your doctor? For almost 2 months I have been experiencing A LOT of shedding of hair and I'm thinking the Hydrochlorothiazide may be the culprit. I need to see the doctor soon before it gets any worse :-(
