Take the drug only with your doctor's knowledge and advice. The drug entails harmful adverse effects.

This bisphosphonate drug has been chained to osteonecrosis according to some claims. Although this was intended to cure osteoporosis, there are adverse effects which leads to jaw death and other complications including atrial fibrilation. I found an article about Osteoporosis here http://www.rotlaw.com/fosamax/

According to various studies, the drug Fosamax may cause the death of the jaw, which is a life-threatening condition. Similar to this, the product DePuy hip replacement may also lead to a critical health condition like metal poisoning in the blood stream. I can tell you that I have been on Fosamax for about 6 months...and yesterday when I took my weekly dose...I did not take it with the recommended 6 ounces of water. I took it with a couple of swallows only.(I am 54)
I now can not swallow solids as the pain is severe. Liquids go down fine--but not solids. The key to prevent this I think is water!!
I plan on going off this--I would rather break a bone than panic when I try to eat!!

I can recommend a reputable pharmacy (Fosamax)- alltabstore.com/order-fosamax-online-en.html/... I received the order and it was on time and the pills work great.

my husband has crohns disease and was taking fosamax from 2004-2008. has always had trouble with hiatal hernia, gastritis and acid reflux. In July 2011 was diagnosed with esophageal cancer, passed away in Sept 2011. I can"t help but feel that fosamx is directly responsible for this horrible tragedy. With all his conditions he should
have never taken fosamax.

I've heard both good things and bad things about Fosamax. Dr. Richard Besser said that it may be good for some people who are older or might need it short term, but it shouldn't be given to younger people for the long term. I work for a law firm that is investigating cases of spontaneous Femur Fracture. The risk for fractures can increase once you've been on it for 5 years.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Scorpio

You're in the mood to spend money on a favourite hobby or pastime today, so take care if you're supposed to making every penny count at the moment. The temptation to treat yourself to something that you'll undoubtedly enjoy will be too strong to resist, and the trouble is that you might not restrict yourself to just one item either. It looks like being an extravagant day!
