Our ER doctors are ordering Decadron to be aerosolized along with Xopenex and Atrovent. Are there any studies that have been done to show the benefits?

I ahve used Decadron in severe asthma with albuterol a few years ago at a Childrens Hosipital in Ca. We also used it Croup pt's. I am researching to find info. on the use of it in nebs.

I need to know if there is a way to treat the side effects of Dexamethasone. I have this thing called a "stretch" on my arms.

My daughter who weighs 78 pounds was given 30 milligrams by IM by mistake. She has tons of side effects...does anyone know long term effects of something like this?

I meant to say she was given 30milligrams of Decadron. She is still having headaches...her potassium dropped and her glucose soared. She has been borderline dehydrated...but she just don't feel good. help please

Prescribed Decadron With Bendryl Oral Suspension one month ago. Last dose two weeks ago. Side effects that I am experiencing now- Blurred Vision,High Glucose Readings (Never had Diabetes before) Sore Muscles and Joints, Sensitive to Cold Weather,sweating, and constant drymouth.
Does anyone know how long this drug stays in your system. |

Hi Tony, Let me ask you a question. Why on earth would ANYONE use a drug if a food can do the same sort of thing? Maybe you're in a lot of pain, fighting infections or many other health issues in which a doctor would prescribe a dangerous drug...would you use that drug if you knew there was a food available that might perform as good if not better than that drug?
