decadron

i have been on decadron 8mg a day for about 2 weeks and am currently weaning off of them and and now down to 2mg a day once a day, i have been experiencing side effects of moon face, weight gain i am always hungry and i've broken out in acne all over my chin, neck and shoulders. i am a 19 year old fit guy who exersizes daily and never had acne before and always skinny. i hate this. can anyone please tell me how long these side effects will last. i feel bloated and disgusting.

I have been on decadron for almost 2 yrs now for multiple myeloma. The side effects never stop. I have gained 30 lbs which has interfered with my breathing very badly. I have almost every side effect possible, eat all the time, no acne, terrible swelling in legs, sweating so badly that I am soaked, hair is so wet it is like I stepped out of the shower, bad body odor, moodiness, can't sleep, severe thirst, rashes and the latest news is cataract. I see my doctor on 8/17 again and will make him mad when I tell him I am want to stop taking decadron. The longer I am on it the worse I am feeling, it destroys your immune system. I can't take this stuff any longer. Only good thing it did was take my IgA count from 5160 when this was first diagnosed Christmas 2007 to 225 now. But I just can't breathe anymore from the weight, I can barely walk a block with out feeling like I chest will explode because I am gasping for air.
