Catheter procedure is effective for 3 or 4months and up

based in our experienced nila desperate at rea .. mas ok un kateter kc sure tlga don at sandali lang un procedure wla pang 2mints. ang paglagay ng kateter sa loob ng v. mo .. kay ate joy kme nagpalagay ng kateter she's from fairview. pwd ka din don magstay if u want pra maalagaan ka nila at wla pang 24hrs lalabas na din.

Here are some info about how the so called "Catheter procedure" is done..To start of..

DONT EXPECT na "MIDWIFE" ung gagawa sainyo...let me explain kung anu ginagawa..Dis applies to 24weeks age of gestation pataas..magmimit kayo somewhere depende sa mapaguusapan(Im not pertaining to POMPA to make things clear) then dadalhin ka sa isang lugar,kukuha sayo ng pera tapos bibigyan ka ng gamot ung mga gamot na un i eenumerate ko sa baba:

Misoprostol(Cytotec)
Hyoscine Hydrobromide(Buscopan)
Methergine
Paracetamol
Amoxicillin

Bibigyan ka ng two options,meron ung may "Ikakabit" dw sayo(the one that is cheaper)
o stay in ka dun(this one is the more expensive one)
Procedure:
gamit ang vaginal speculum ibubuka ung vagina mo,then maglalagay xa ng tablet ng Cytotec(ito ung gamot na sinasabi nilang magbubukas ng cervix mo but it really isnt..why?the action of cytotec is to contract ur uterus not to open the cervix...ngaun ang cervix mo bubuka lang yan pag dumadaan na ung baby dun sa cervix..)
ang procedure very UNsterile...bkit?ung gmagawa di man lang gumagamit ng gloves,ung speculum nilalapag sa sahig,ung cytotec ilalagay ala man lang gloves o ni hindi man lang naghugas ng kamay..btw,after ilagay ung cytotec sa loob maglalagay siya ng catheter na hindi ko maintindihan kung anong purpose. The cytotec itself is sufficient already to trigger the abortion(xempre kung tunay ung cytotec na nabili mo) then after nun papauwiin ka na...Instruct ka niya na inumin mo ung 5 gamot ng sabay sabay(1 tab each dun sa mga gamot na inenumerate ko sa taas) pag humilab na yan sobrang sakit niyan lalo na pag malaki na ang baby.. Para sa nanganak na vaginally,para kang nagkakaroon ng true labor pain...pag hindi pa,brace yourself kasi talagang masakit ang mararamdaman mo kapag humilab na yan...

hindi po ba delikado ang catheter?? ano yon 24 hours ang hihintayin mo para magdugo? masakit ba at hindi ba delikado ito? kasi im 7 weeks pregnant and di ko na alam ang gagawin ko. pls help me. tnx!

d naman xa delikado eh ..yap within 24hrs lalabas na din un.

tnx analyn.. after nong paglabas aalisin ba kaagad yong catheter? ilang days ang paghilom at ilang days ang pagdugo?

7 weeks?di pa yan xadong painful..SIguro its like having dysmenorrhea...Makukuha pa yan sa Cytotec...IntraVaginally then Oral...
