Hello Tonette, well I feel better knowing you can trust your horse. I think that is very important. Yes, I did have to make adjustments and it has worked out very well, after an initial phase of "denial."
I still do a lot of fun and exciting stuff. I still do Martial Arts, just no sparring (I tried to fight that for a year or so....) I go do cross country skiing rather than downhill, things like that.
Basically, like you are already figuring out, it's a matter of enjoying all the wonderful things you can do rather than focusing on what you cannot do.
My opinion is that life is meant to be enjoyed, not feared or dreaded, or to be sad in.
So enjoy, but be careful in what you are doing.
By the way, what part of the UK are you from? I am from Austria, but spent several summers in a small town somewhere near Southampton in the Ringwood forest - ugh I hope I remember that right, it's been a very long time......best horseback riding I ever did...:)

Hi Angela I am from Lincolnshire and it is beautiful when you get up on the wolds you can see for miles and the north sea! I love riding up on the wolds. I haven't been down to Yes I think you are right it is the ringwood forest, we have lots of natural beauty here in england but saying that so do you in Austria form what I have seen from photos...... I always said it is somewhere I wanted to go. But because of my heart I haven't been able to go abroad for a while now.
One more thing Angela when you ski or do martial arts what about protection? you know if you fall? Do you have to wear any body protection? I wear a very good riding hat but maybe I should be thinking of a body protector? or am I being over cautious?
I am not riding yet because I still feel very ill probably will do untill the clot has gone from my heart, but at least now I have got my head around it all
Thank you

Hey I recently had a surgery on my knee and ended up getting 3 blood clots in my calf. I'm now on coumadin and I very much enjoy playing baseball and ive been doing some reading and it doesn't say anything about baseball. So I was wondering if baseball is ok to play???

I had a PE in 2008. no blood disorder did every test nothing. I was on coumadin for a year. Stop taking it for a week and another PE. My first PE was the size of 2 quarters covering both main entry to lungs had a 1% chance to survive my doc said it was a miracle. Doc said once you have a PE or a large PE you will have another bc of the scars left from the first. So I am 30 and was told to stay on coumadin for life. I stop from all contact sports bc you bruise and bleed easily. I am convince there is something in the food we eat. I read an article stating PE's are the number one cost of death in hospitals and on a rise.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Aquarius

You won't like it if you feel your wings are being clipped today. You want to do something in particular, only to discover that someone is objecting to your plans or that circumstances beyond your control are standing in your way. Although your instincts tell you to throw a tantrum to get your point across, you must ask yourself what this will achieve, and whether it will actually be self-defeating.
