I bumped my right elbow on my desk. The next day I could barely raise my right arm, it swolled up, and it hurted real bad. The pain was excruciating and it throbbed. I couln't use it. Anyway as a couple days went by, my elbow is at least tolerable but has bruised badly. I take Coumadin, should I be concerned about this?

It's not the bump to the head you need to worry about, its taking a rate poision that should be your main concern! My sister never bumped her head but she still developed a brain bleeding hemmorage that took her life! For your own protection, look for a safer and less stressful way to thin your blood if it is needed. Then you can live your life without spending all your time worring about how this drug may negitively effect your body and your family! Go read in this forum "Coumadin Casues Death" to see what people are saying about how it has negitively effected their loved ones!
Thanks for the comment. It's not enough everyone on the forum is worried about taking coumadin. If there was a viable alternative to coumadin for the situations we all find ourselves in, don't you think we would have taken it?

I have been on coumadin since beginning of February due to AF. Today I bumped top of my head very hard. Right now, I can still feel the pain, but my neck is sore also.
Should I call nurse in emerg and ask them what to do? It is now 9:14pm..and this happened around 4:30pm.....what should I do? This worries me.

I was leaning in my fridge and reaching at the bottom for a drink and when I was coming up I smacked the top left of my head off my freezer door handle. I have a pretty good knot on my head and my head hurts but I already had a head ache before I hit my head. It's common to get a bump on the head after a blow like that right? I'm not on any medication other than an anti depressant. Should I go to the dr? Or wait it out?

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Libra

It's one of those difficult days when anything can and will happen. Someone you were relying on might let you down, plans could be changed at the eleventh hour or a machine could go on the blink. To make matters worse, your energy levels are very erratic, so you feel full of beans one minute and ready to go to sleep the next. Don't make the situation worse by eating foods that give you a high followed by a slump.
