Cipro (http://www.originaldrugs.com/medicine/cipro.s... ) can cause ruptures of the shoulder, hand, Achilles tendon or other tendons. Post-marketing surveillance reports indicate that this risk may be increased in patients receiving concomitant corticosteroids, especially the elderly.

those ruptures are very rare, dont be alarmed until you speak to a doc (source: www.ciprorx.info )
