Maybe feeling different. It does restore seritonin when mdma floods your brain with seritonin. If your low on seritonin I can see you feeling more euphoric

I have been on 10Mg for 2 Weeks now increasing to 20Mg in a few days, but I had these side effects as well. I would highly recommend taking this at night. most of the side effects wear off while you are sleeping. In the morning I find I have a lot of energy, almost hyper, but I get a lot of stuff done lol. It has increased my anxiety/ocd a little but my Dr said it should go away when I have been in this for four to six Weeks, she gave me a low dose of xanax for this reason. But concentration gets a lot better after the first week, so don't give up! I'm so glad that I stayed on this.

Oh god, I took my first 20mg dose today about 1pm and about 45 minutes later it felt like an atomic bomb went off in my head. For the first 4 or 5 hours I was yawning and feeling lethargic and like I smoked a ton of pot (so I should probs take this at night LOL). Then I noticed this evening I had a heightened sense of touch, like my shower water felt different, everything feels weird haha. I've got a bit of a headache, my eyes are wide and my pupils are so huge I look like a meth addict. And now I've got a huge case of the giggles. I've been nauseous but hungry at the same time.
I will say I was on 10mg about 2 years ago for post partum depression and I experienced the nausea and sleepiness, and they symptoms for me lasted about a week then it was like some one magically flipped a switch and I was fine. No side effects like I am having now though, jesus. LOL.

Thank God I read all of your comments!!! I thought iras going CRAZY! I have a 11montg old and am faced with post partum. Been through the ringer w/Dr.s and finally my OBGYN said you need antidepressants! So I said "FUCK IT" couldn't feel any worse than I do. I took a 20mg at 10pm 3 nights ago and holy shit it woke me out of my sleep! I first felt sleepy so I went to bed only to wake an hour later with the worst anxiety. I got up and realized i felt tingly and buzzy. Thankfully my mother in law was there cause I flipped! I threw up 5x then couldn't even talk cause my thoughts were all over the place. Then came dry mouth, eye Twitching, hot flashes, clenching jaw, and the overwhelming feeling to run around without the energy to back it up. Wowe confusion! I went to the ER cause my heart was racing so fast. They laughed at me cause I said people pay good $ to be this fucked up! They said that i need to just deal w/it for 5 days and that if I could, It really would help my depression! My aunt that is a nurse said the same and that if I didn't have a reaction to it that I didn't need it. It's fixing the chemicals in your brain so I was probably saritonin deprived! I dint like it cause I have my lil baber cakes to care for :( they gave me some nausea medicine and a 1mg ativan. I went home and slept. I awoke to STILL being fucked up and imbarassed and even worse cause of the future bill for the ER visit :( I cut them in half and now take them in the am. I will bump up to a whole 20mg after 4 days. I do feel better already but still am adjusting to these pills. Stick in there guys!!!! It dose get better and maybe get some Xanax to help you through the hard times. I never slept, was always foggy, sad, everything felt sooo exhausting and was a walking anxiety attack. I already feel an for the 1st time in a ur feel NORMAL :)

I took my first dose today around 5. I searched citalopram & ecstasy and found this blog. Really glad that I did because I, too, am feeling a little crazy. I have taken ecstasy (a lot) in my younger days and it does feel very similar to the comedown. I am trying to "roll with it" as someone said. I worked very hard to get off drugs though, so it's a little hard to have fun with it. I feel very out of my normal self. I don't know if I will be able to deal with this for 5 days of "adjustment". If I knew it would definitely help I guess I'd try though.

I have a history of depression and anxiety and have been in counceling for eating disorders for a while now. I was previously prescribed zoloft. I started it a couple ears ago during my junior year of university. Really tried to stick with it, but after a few weeks had to quit the medication. I felt really out of it, and couldn't concentrate. I would commute a long distance to my school, and find that I had been driving for 10 minutes without really being present in the fact was driving. I couldn't concentrate. It made me 'feel' uncomfortable. So I quit it, and didn't ask for more, since I already didn't really want to adjust to a new medication. Fast forward a year and a half or so later, Im moving out of the country, and am having my physical before I go. I decide to ask for a new medication since Im not sure how difficult it will be to get if I start having really bad anxiety again. I was prescribed citalopram. I honestly haven't been able to take this medication more than once. I started as i was advised, half a tablet every other day for the first 2 weeks. i first took a half tablet in the evening, and woke up the next morning feeling like i was stoned. my eyes were dilated, i looked like i was on drugs. i had kindof a weird confused feeling. not pleasant. I still suffer from aniety though. Its been a couple months since then, I still have all of my medication. Im wondering if maybe i should cut it down at first to 1/4 a pill every other day for a couple weeks. are these symptoms normal and do they go away. is it worth it, or should i just forget it?(sorry for the super long post, just thought some history might be important)

Is it like this every day? Lol.. I feel like this is what goes on in Bjork's head. Which is fun, but I know when it comes time to do productive things it'd probably be weird.
I take 30mg Adderall XR twice daily (sometimes only once) for ADHD. Curious to see what that will be like with the Celexa...

Yh I take mine at night and as I do have a joint before bed it conks me right out, I wake up in the morning and feel like I've been at a rave all night. You know that feeling when you've had a good buzz and its slowly dying off. My pupils are pretty dilated though the first half of the day. Its making me very lazy though. Only thing that's bugging me is that I don't have an appetite one bit! I only manage about 5 mouthfuls of food in the past 3 days I been taking it. Has anyone taken mdma while being on this?

Hi, i also am taking Citalopram HBR, and i also feel like im on MDMA. like same euphoric feeling, cant eat or sleep. feel amazing. And it also came in waves the feeling very much like MDMA. and my gf has also been prescribed Celexa and she tells me the same thing. Both me and my gf have done mdma a couple of time in the past and no doubt in my mind that it feels just like M.

I do not feel like I'm on X at all. You all are lucky bastards. Today is day 5 of taking citoprolam. Side effects are decreased appetite, decreased sex drive, slight headaches, and dry mouth. They aren't too bad though. The most annoying side effect is that I am having trouble sleeping. Takes me a while to fall asleep. I constantly wake myself because I'm either really hot or I stretch my arms and legs to the point of waking myself. I hope this subsides. Can anyone chime in on this sleep issue? I take it at night because it does make me feel really cracked out. I guess it could be compared to the feeling of "coming down" from a night of rolling, but not quite as bad as coming down on X. Still feel cracked out. I take it at night FYI

4 years next month, 30 mg per day. When I forget to take, I remember based on my overly rapid responses to things. Sometimes overreactions. Never a side effect. First few days were slightly euphoric, otherwise I feel better and normal.
