You need to talk to your doctor to discuss your concerns and find the solution that works for you. I have tried several antidepressants and I still have not found the perfect one, it takes patience and good family and friends to help you through it. Not to mention a good doctor who will take the time!

Im so nervouse! my dr just put me on citalopram 10mg. i read all about it and I dont want side effect! But I would like to feel better! To take or not to take thats question haha

I also have anxiety/panic attacks so i went to my doctor and he prescribed Citalopram 10mg. I've been on it for 5 days now. My side effects were minor like yawning, nausea and little dizziness which goes away quickly. I was prescribed Citalopram to help with my breathing hard and anxiety but I don't think its working so far. I would have to take another medicine called Lorazepam 1mg to help with the breathing. Lorazepam is an addictive medicine and I've been on it for 3 weeks now 1 a day. Anyone else having breathing problems and knows what to do?

I just got mine couple days ago, just now gonna take em.. Oh great after hearing all this i'm scared! what should i do now? cus i'm always scared takin new medications, i panac to much.. N the whole reasen my doc is putting me on these is becus my heart races when i lay down just about to fall asleep or it feels like it stopped, why would he put me on these if the affect is to make your heart race that don't make any sence, i'm also on em for stress i guess lol..

i jst came to this country i went to doc he gives me citalopram 10 mg first week its no gd nt then its gd cz its feels u gd i jst had a nerves al the time n fear n worry so.....i dnt knw i hope its pass

Good to hear that they seem to be having a positive impact whether 10 or above. Having never taken anything stronger than an aspirin in my life started on 10 today. Looking forward to impact if not the side effects.

I started taking 10mg Celexa On tuesday, today is Friday.. So 4 days ago. I asked my doctor for something to stabilze my mood. So far and its early to tell, but I dont feel the Celexa at all. I dont feel any different. I know its takes a few weeks, but if there is no change, then I will ask for the 20mg ones. Ive tried cymbalta and it made me feel weird after taking just one. Ive been on paxil and zoloft before about 8 yrs ago, and paxil is the worst, zoloft mad me feel really nervous. So this medicine seems to be alot better so far!
